How is it to travel alone, as a Foreigner, on a motorcycle in Indonesia?
In today's episode I travel from West Sumatra to North Sumatra, starting from Padang. 600km in a few days visiting Bukkittinggi, The Equator Line and Bukit Sibea Bea before reaching Tuk Tuk on Samosir Island, next to Lake Toba.
Traveling solo as a foreigner on a motorcycle can be challenging, so I share some of my tips and tricks, as a full time rider in Indonesia.

Yes! Another great episode. As much as I love the adventure videos I really dig these travel day videos. Turanga is a beast on those roads. I have got to visit this area of Sumatra. It looks amazing! Thanks also for sharing a bit about not every day being a perfect day. Would love to see more of you sharing some of the challenges you've faced both logistically and psychologically as a solo traveler. This is definitely an adventure of a lifetime and I love being along for the journey. Perjalanan aman!!

Kristian, You will need many days to explore Tanah Batak. Kamu harus explore culture dari setiap Districts yg berbeda di sekeliling danau Toba. Pemandangan yg berbeda, dan juga kuliner. Jangan lupa juga ke pulau Nias.

Hi Kristian. I'm in Depok. I will be here for quite a while, inshallah 🙏. However, I don't expect to see so many beautiful nature spots as you. This is my 2nd trip here. I see things that excite me every day, but to my family here who are local, it's just normal. I never have my camera or phone out when I need it or we are in a car and I can't get a picture or video of something cool. Most days are kind of boring actually, but to my friends and family back in the states, just me being here in Indonesia 🇮🇩 is amazing enough. I made friends with a little boy named Ade. He's about 6. He always gives me flowers and constantly draws a heart in the air with his fingers and would say "bule." Then bring me something to eat. I thought the food he was giving me was called bule 😆. I figured out a few days later what it means. I to feel like a celebrity. I quite enjoy the attention to be honest. May God bless you and as always stay safe.
