"The Girl in 14G" is a contemporary song by Jeanine Tesori and Dick Scanlan written for and best known being performed by Kristin Chenoweth. It is based on a real life experience with Chenoweth first moving to New York City living with loud and noisy neighbors below and above getting each other to be quiet. as per Wikipedia
@ashleighmacfie83387 жыл бұрын
Bryan Abriz she first worked with tesori and scanlan during the workshops for the musical adaption of Thoroughly Modern Millie and it was during this time that she asked them to write this song based on her moving to the big city for her first album which she wanted a 1930s feel for

Love Kristin Chenoweth! This song is GREAT! She has such fun when she performs on stage and the audience loves her too. This song shows her comedic ability. Her facial expressions are priceless. As for her singing, she is musical perfection! There's not a song she can't sing. Kristin has a 4 octave range which is more than most singers. She is amazing! This 2004 performance from PBS & Boston Pops (Evening At Pops - From Screen to Stage - Kristin Chenoweth and Rob Marshall) should be made into a video. PLEASE PBS, THIS WOULD SELL!
