In this first episode you will see how the sheetmetal rear fender for the Triumph Bobber was built.
It is made of 2mm aluminum sheet, and manufactured mainly with hand tools and a English Wheel.

I like the detail on the leading edge of the fender. My factory HD rear fender just ends under there. Brilliant design.

Buddy, I need to tell you that you are a true artist. The job is really well done; I like your workshop, all the machines, I love how the video was made: the sound of the welding process and the grinder, the soft hammer hitting the aluminum and the other sounds instead of the horrible music that some people add to their videos . Not only the work itself is a work of art, is everything around it. Congrats.

It would be nice if there was a clock running while doing things like the English wheel. I'd like to know how much time and effort it actually take to get those results.

@@KRTframework I have a friend here in NZ who owns a ‘51 Vincent, he has built a cafe racer copying his original, manufacturing 90% of the bike, he has now built a 1948 Vincent, copied from one that was touring the world, he has yet to assemble it as he is now building a 1930 Rolls Royce with a 27 litre Merlin. He has already built another 27 litre Merlin race car looking like a race car from the 1920s, like you there are many amazing craftsmen still about, they are not losing the skills as many young guys and girls are willing to learn.
