Yes, it lasts. Don’t worry. That machine is still my daily driver, and I use it to edit and export all my KZfaq videos! I have not noticed the temperatures being hotter now than when I first re-pasted it. So if those stories from other people that you read about it not lasting are accurate, I can only assume that they did not paste it in the same way I did. I hope this helps!

Sorry for my delayed reply. Testing in my 2019 video was largely the same as what you see here. So per your request, what I've done is run the same CineBench test while Intel Power Gadget is loaded, but this time without the screen recording. (Volta was not running either.) My 2015 15" MBP uses less power and doesn't get as hot because there's no screen recording going on, and the benchmark result is better. CPU clock speed remained a solid 2.8GHz during the entire test. I did this once on battery power and then again on AC Adapter power, but the result was the same. Sadly, yes it is normal. Apple tends to run their machines a bit too hot.

@@JDW- when im working with unity and some application m'y keyboard its little bit hot its normal.

@@ayoubagbani3170 High heat and constant fan noise is something you must live with until you upgrade to Apple's M1 or M2 notebooks. Then all of that is a thing of the past. Sure, those machines too can get hot if you drive them hard, but the heat intensity is less than Intel, mainly because Apple Silicon is far more efficient and low power. So even with great thermal paste and good fanning, Intel MacBooks simply are not ideal.
