Krysten Ritter has made her mark in Hollywood with shows like "Gilmore Girls," "Veronica Mars," and "Breaking Bad." She is now playing a superhero and private investigator in "Marvel's Jessica Jones." This season, Jones runs into trouble with the police when she is arrested for murder. That's what they do when people, especially women play hero roles, they actually think they are really that fictional character!!

It's Kinda that whole "The Actor" vs 'The Character" argument and the whole Stanislaski thing is you don't become a character ,it's what would YOU do is this situation actually happened to You

I am not a star struck kind of person, but I just love her. She seems so don to earth. Whether or not it is true, I don't care. Love the show, love the character. Reminds me strongly of someone I love.

best scene of season 2 was when one of the policeman said he didnt need the therapy because he's dreams stop the moment jessica killed kilgrave.

Loved both seasons... season 2 was interesting as it went really deep into her dark side and even saw more from Jessica's emotions. Great job

+Kasem Salim i know the show encourages you to identify first and foremost with the lead character, but if you're objective about it you can see that trish definitely isn't any worse than jessica. they're both messed up, they care about each other, and they help each other as best as they know how. trish definitely crossed a big line at the end of season 2. but they care about each other too much, and their lives are too dangerous, for this rift to last forever. they've both crossed lines before, and history suggests that eventually they will make up this time too.

You know what I get from people? "Oh, there's too many superhero stuff on TV and film". Know what I say to them? During the 30s to the 60s, the number one genre coming out of Hollywood? Westerns. There was a huge output on film and later, TV. And what's happening now is no different. These are the new "westerns" and I can't see this trend abating any time soon. I'm a comic book fan anyway so long may it reign! Plus, season 2 of "Jessica Jones" was fantastic.

56postoffice same. My friend says too many shows for him to watch so therefore he doesnt watch shows period. He just watches movies. I get the strong sense that he doesnt really pay much attention anyway to what he watches therefore his attention span for binge watching a series isnt there. Oh well. I'm glad I got to be one of the few that understood and enjoyed what i have.

Agreed. I also love the fact that all the Marvel shows are filmed all over NYC and I can recognize at least 80% of the locations. It makes the characters feel even more real to me. Luke Cage was practically 50% filmed in my neighborhood, Washington Heights.

If you go into a show with too many expectations, you will not enjoy it. I can tell by those who complain that they have certain expectations because of the list of complaints. It's a good show. I would even recommend it more for lesbians because alot of female shows exploit that alot but doesn't mean guys can't enjoy it or that because they go into the characters underlying issues that it has to be action packed like Punisher. Overall, each Marvel show is necessary to the series storyline and i enjoyed the slow pacing because they dont have to rush everything into one season. Look at Iron fist. They killed off two of the main characters on its first season.

Trish became annoying in Season 2, at least in my opinion. She needs to change or die for the show to be more enjoyable. Jess is awesome and Malcolm as well. I feel bad for her mother but she's very wrong in the head so...

Trish is an addict in relapse, first of all, so of course it's going to be very rough... BUT she had to go through a period of transformation in season 2 to become what she was destined to be all along- Hellcat! I understand, even as a person who LOVES trish, how one could be very annoyed with her continuous bad choices in this season- but trust me, it's all leading up to something better. Be patient with her (:
