Will be putting a tight bore barrel in this week. Does that blue end cap on the end of the barrel transfer easy or is each barrel separate?

Anybody, there is this small hopup outer tension spring, item KA002-62U, that fell out when I was cleaning the barrel... it never happened and I just can't find how (and where!) do I put it back in place...

Krytac should use some other material for the c-clip. It breaks really easily :(

I when I put the little clip on the hopup that is supposed to keep the barrel straight, it doesn’t sink in all the way. This makes it so I can’t put the barrel assembly in my gun. Please help

Hey man I've seen you on the forums and since it seems like you know what your talking about I need some advice. I have a CRB and I'm wondering if this is the same inner barrel installation for all krytacs? I'm thinking about putting in a Prometheus tight bore barrel so when I go outdoors I could throw on a power up suppressor to gain slightly more fps since I need to dumb it down for CQB. The power up won't work with the stock inner barrel since stock is 6.05 and the power up is 6.03.

I have the prommy inner barrel and it works great. Just note that certain buckings are a bit tough to install (like prommy purple) since the barrel is so fat

Would I be right in saying that the hop arm would accommodate “any” nub but it just won’t retain it like the proprietary one? So it’s possible to use any type of hopping system, flat-hop R-hop etc.. Cheers.

Any standard nub... yes. all you need is a dab of grease to hold the nub in place. For flat hop, you have to modify the nub anyway as there is no such thing as a drop in fit.

How would one go about flat hopping this? If the bottom of the nub was cut flat, and some eraser bit was attached, how would the nub be able to pivot? Any ideas?

Hello Allizard. I have a Krytac crb mk 2 in UK and its firing at around 295fps.my field limit is 360. I'm thinking of swapping inner barrel to a tight bore with a new maple leaf bucking but also swapping the spring to a m110. Would I still be under 360 fps with this 👍edit, I use 0.25 bbs

Hi there, I will be changing the stock inner barrel and hop up bucking on my crb in a week time. I am actually swapping it to prometheus eg tight bore and prometheus purple bucking. The question I have is that, should I use the purple hop up nub that comes with the prometheus purple bucking or should I use the stock orange nub? Thank you!

Possible, bucking also is a consumable. So replace if necessary.

Is it common to have 2 springs? I have the Krytac PDW-M and when removing my inner barrel I have the longer slimmer tension spring and a much smaller but wider spring overlaying the tension spring.

@@robin3840 ngl...that was my first thought, mild panic and sweaty palms set in! I did a little research after posting tho and found out the main one is an inner barrel tension spring and the secondary, smaller one is to aid compression under prolonged use.

@@robin3840 I have a long established habit (started with a grandfather clock as a kid) of laying parts out as I dismantle to make reasonably easy...the shorter, chunkier spring literally just slides over the top of the longer skinnier one so you effectively have a double spring setup. With the stock Krytac PDW-M handguard, you'll benefit from both as they catch internally at different points.

You mean the nub? that's for pushing down the bucking so the BB can create a back spin.

+Gianni Marconi Depends on bbs being used, i have the SPR and i use #9 for .28s and #5 for .20s. Just gotta load the ammo you want to use and test fire then adjust till you find the sweet spot that you like.

So for some reason my gun has been ALWAYS. Consistently shooting straight but curving to the left. I’m using .25 high quality bbs. What do I do to fix it :(

Well, if you want to use another nob, you either mod the Arm of the Krytac Chamber or use a different Chamber, which would most likely be the PwoWin. Or am i wrong?

@@timdeboer7400 how noticeable is the performance increase using that bucking and nub from the stock ones? and also what gun do you have these on? like, is it worth it to buy these bucking and nubs for the amount of performance increase you get?

@@johngonzalez3969 Getting a flat nub does help with performance and range. I couldn't get a Maple Leaf tensioner nub to work with my Krytac LVOA (with Wolverine Reaper HPA) so I opted for the more expensive Firefly. But if you install a flathop correctly I haven't seen much difference in performance between the different kinds of flathop. Changing barrel, bucking and nub are the best upgrades to start with, they are easy to change and give the best performance boost. Evike sells pre R hopped prometheus barrels, combine that with perhaps a modify flat hop bucking and nub and you will get a really nice range out of your gun already.

Tim de Boer did you have to install a prowin hookup to fit the prommy purple and fire fly namazu or do they fit with the stock Krytac hopup unit? Also are you talking about the modify ryosoku because I heard it’s not too good

@@johngonzalez3969 The stock hopup is actually pretty good, you dont have to upgrade to the prowin one. The prommy and firefly fit, but the arm where that puts pressure on the nub is made for the stock nub. I glued the nub in place. But you could do it with some silicone grease. I haven't installed the Modify bucking and nub in my Krytac, but on other aeg's i had some good results with it. Sure it is not the best, but for it's price it works nicely. Madbull Shark red (60 degrees) bucking worked for me fine also when flathopped or the G&G green bucking is a nice bucking.
