KSP Campaign "Speedrun", Part 3: Interplanetary on the second launch

NOTE:
At 1:42 in this video, a clip is shown where it appears that infinite fuel is enabled. I was using a few shots of the previous parts of the mission to set context. I believe that I either edited in a clip from testing or from later recreation. However, given the time since this video, it is possible that I accidentally left infinite fuel on during the mission itself and didn't notice the error. The overall mission and delta-V margins remain sound. Regardless, I sincerely apologize for the error.
Thank you to /u/zhangyuxiao12345678 on reddit for finding this.
Please watch the first two parts if you have not already!

I've tried that, kind of. It's honestly a bit dull, because you just end up sciencing the heck out of Kerbin, Mun and Minmus (and "high above the Sun"). Everything else just takes too long to reach in-game to be worth even trying. :/ A real-time speedrun would probably be a lot more interesting to watch.

Wow that is incredible, this dude upgraded every building, unlocked everything in the tech tree, with excess funds and science points, in only 2 launches. My full respect to this man, other people wouldn't even be done by their 100th launch. This dude was an inspiration for my smallest rocket videos on SFS, I spent several hours on the mars and moon rockets and I even used some ideas used in his videos. I even started spending some hours on a mercury rocket but ran out of time because of school.

Curious what this would take in KSP 2. There will be a lot more science for one thing, but there's also the potential for the dynamics of money and science to be completely different! If this video shows anything, it's that gravity assists are completely overpowered lmao. The end where he's just whipping about the solar system on the way back to Kerbin was ridiculous. Although I guess we've gotta keep in mind that the only times humans have been able to get something out of the solar system (Voyager) was because the system giants were aligned in such a way that we were able to grab an assist off of each one on the way out. That's an alignment that only happens every something like ~600 years, and it just so happened to come about at the height of our space travel beginnings.
