So I was looking around, searching YT to see if anyone had ever attempted to reproduce this scene within KSP with little hope tbh I found videos with fancy mods that reproduced the ship and all, but they missed the most important points that makes this scene so exceptionnal... Then I found out this video : your video. And man was I impressed! It overcame any of my expectations : you're spot-on on so much things : camera, docking, alignment moment, ... Everything is so well assembled and it's just such a great video. Wow, the KSP community is talented. 👏

Ironic it is evenmore realistic than in the movie where they use the shuttle engines, out of line from the whole docked craft center of mass to get back into orbit... Using the mothership's main engines was the only solution since the shuttle was docked to the centerline dowking port.

I found out about KSP about a year ago, and i've always wanted to play it. Epic Games recently put it out for free. I'm still going through the tutorial and loving it so far. I'm in the docking tutorial right now and thought, "I wonder if it's possible to do the docking scene from Interstellar in this?" A quick Google search brought me to your video, and holy crap!
