This video saved my butt. I had a moment and I could not figure out the amount of oil to add. You made it so simple by explaining that all the different engines take the same amount of oil and definitely helped by pointing out on the Motorex bottle. Thank you!

Right. I was told by a buddy that there isnt oil filters for the 300 xc. I was like wtf really. Here i am looking for a oil change "kit" for my bike with a filter and such but they seem non existant through my efforts in tryin to source such kit fir my bike. This 1 hour oil change guess all i will change is just the oil

The 250xc and 300xc have the oil check bolt at different places then the 125 i believe. I have the 250 and i still need to take the spring off the rear brake

I have a ktm 125 xc 2023 and I bought it out of the box and it already came with a mixture from the ktm factory and I turned it on and ran it, then I turned it on and the spark that you recommend me blew

Hey thanks for the video. I’m curious, when using the oil level bolt, should I wait until oil stops coming out before replacing the bolt?

Not unless you've drastically overfilled. If you already had the bolt out while filling, you're fine. I wouldn't use the bolt at all, just pour in the correct amount. Capacity is not that important.

I like how they moved the oil check bolt on this generation. The earlier generation was in a hard to reach spot behing the rear brake spring and was very easy to strip if you didnt remove the spring. Not user friendly.

@@mxgryan ouf thats a bad day. I own a 2021 ktm 300 exc tpi. Yes its in a bad place. It was on the same place on all other bikes to. But the spring didn't come in contact like it does on 2017 and up. Though when you done 10 or so oil changes you have a system for it. I see people saying that you don't need to use the oil level bolt and just measure. But honestly it can differ so much. I had oil changes where i did 0.6dl and some where i got 0.85dl. Just depends on what oil, temperature and for how long you drain the oil. Great video!

I changed my gas mixture to 50:1 and that’s seemed to do the trick for me

Is this process the same for the gas gas 2023 250EC two stroke? Is there no oil screen or oil filter for this bike or my gas gas 2023 250EC

I bought a 2023 2-stroke ktm 125 xc that would be the same as the one in your video. I see that this one has a 2-stroke mixture in the tank. my question is it normal for the motorcycle to come like this

A TBI motorcycle would come with some gas in the tank, yes.
