Thank you! I'm having fun :) hoping to bring excitement to my viewers. The drone is on its last legs.. or props.. the video was all blurry so I couldn't use it full screen. Don't know why it didn't focus or didn't record at 1080p.. so picture in picture it was. Haha.

A man after me own heart! You carry tools & shear pins w/ you & broom off the machine before putting it away. You prob know but the blower will work to clean the street gutter & will not leave any piles were you stop. I try to do it before the driveway is done so I have some clean snow left to run thru the blower to clean it out. They use salt on the streets here in WI.

Thank you! Great minds think a like! I'm set in my path for clearing, and kick myself every time I finish with the dirty snow at the road :) You are right! I should start with that, so the blower is left with clear snow... Thank you for watching and commenting! Have a great weekend!

I use simple 2 1/4" fully-threaded grade 2 bolts, with nylon nuts. Easy to buy in bulk, easier to make it hold on than using a split washer, fast to replace. They seem to shear with about the same amount of force as approved Kubota pins (based on what conditions they work in, vs fail).

How's she goin'? It's always exciting to plow for the first time of the season eh!!! Trouble is you find the things that you weren't expecting, like that piece of sod. I use Grade 2 bolts for my shear bolts on my rear mounted blower. They seem to work real well and I have broken a few and haven't noticed any damage to the blower in any way. They are a lot cheaper too!!! Thanks for sharing and happy plowing!!! Take care!!!

Up here in the Soo we got hammered with snow. For awhile I was blowing out 5 driveways twice a day. We got a couple of heavy snowfalls then pouring rain. I’ve put more hours on my BX2380 with a Tektite Cab this year so far than I did all of last winter put together. I’ll be out at 6am tomorrow morning cleaning up a dusting we are getting today. Gave the blower a coating of WD40 silicone to keep the snow from sticking yesterday. I always clean the tractor and blower off before parking it in the garage. I guess we are getting more snow than you the highway north to Wawa has been closed a couple of times already. How has your exhaust mod worked.

Hello. Thanks for the great comments. It does seem like you've gotten more snow for sure. I spray the chute as well :) good plan. The muffler extension is coming together, I am just starting to get things in place so I have no production stock available yet, but hopefully mid to late January. I'll be able to have my webstore up and running. Have an awesome New Year.

Your chute deflector is electric? Is it the OEM one. Was it an easy install? Thanks mate 👍
@RossOnTheLand
@RossOnTheLand 2 жыл бұрын
It is electric. My Kubota dealer installed it. I know it's a car window motor but I don't know what part number it is. I am very happy with it being electric because it allows me to rotate and deflect snow in one fluid motion as opposed to having to press a diverter switch. I can move both independently so that's nice. Thank you for watching and commenting. Much appreciated.
@RossOnTheLand
@RossOnTheLand 2 жыл бұрын
Hello Allen, not sure why this comment didn't show up earlier, so my apologies. The electric shute deflector was an OEM install from my Kubota Dealer, but it's some kinda car window motor. It works great and am happy it's electric as I can both rotate and deflect snow at the same time instead of a hydraulic switch that I'd have to divert from one to the other. thanks for watching. let me know if there is anything else you want to know.
