This is my tie down set up I usually do on Kubota tractors. Tractors are horrible anymore for having tie down spots. Unless you just want to wrap a chain around something. Hope this helps.

On a similar note, for my MX4700 I utilized the same forward frame hole to install a shackle which doesn't require an additional drilled hole. I use the same method in the rear, except I use two separate chains to the drawbar clevis. Nice looking property.

I don't believe that you should pull sideways or down on your shackle, which you attached to your drawbar in rear. It really reduces the strength of the shackle. Side force is greatly increased. Great video.

Great content, appreciate it. How do you like the Kubota compared to your last John Deere?

No comparison to the 5075E I just had before it, but its a allot more tractor. But I had a Deere 4066R cab. Power wise it does good so far. We will see when it pushes snow. That will be the test for me. The Deere has allot more features and storage than the Kubota. I feel like the Kubota needs more storage. I like the larger tires on the front of the Kubota and the loader design has a brace that attaches to the bottom of the loader and goes to the back of the tractor. I feel like that's a stronger design for pushing snow.

@@skidco I have been looking at the 4066r. That Kubota looks real nice though! How did you like the 4066r? is it worth the money? They're pushing 70k now

I thought the drawbars are adjustable. Some of them slide back towards the motor. Not sure if your draw bar does that or not.

As Duane said, there should be a pin holding the drawbar in place. There are several holes in the draw bar. Pull the pin and slide it in as far as you want. I think the holes are either 7/8” or 3/4”. I had the last one drilled out to 1” to put a hitch ball in it if I needed it. In the 14 years I had it, I’ve never pulled anything with mine either. I also put in a Clevis like yours to tie it down when I haul it. Good idea on the front tie downs. Thanks.

The one on the MX6000 doesn't go in very far. It hits something underneath the tractor. I haven't even looked at it yet.
