I would like to elaborate about Diwali. Kunal might be joking in a health way. But Diwali is not just about eating and drinking. Its about celebrating the victory of good over evil, Return of Lord Rama after killing Ravan, getting faith back, wishing for good health(God Ganesh), prosperity, wealth(Goddess Lakshmi), education (by doing Puja of Goddess Saraswati) , good luck(God Ganesh). It's a festival of lights, eating sweets, wearing new clothes, making Rangoli(art of colors) at home, reunion of family members, praying for them, lighting diyas(oil lamps), cleaning your entire house, donating old new clothes, sweets to poors and so so much more. People celebrate in their own way though. It's a day to be happy.

I am Maharashtrian by culture nd for us diwali means a festival of lights,sweets,rangoli ( a design or painting made of combination of colours in front of our home ),a special kind of food called farar which contains more than 5 items...nd so on. it is a festival of various occasions like laxmi pujan( praising to the goddess of wealth nd knowledge), dhanteras ( similar to the laxmi pujan),badi diwali,chhoti diwali,bhai duj( brother sister devotes to each other) and in the end the new year. ( Look like i went in so detail 😅)but yeah Kunal Nayyar belongs to punjab so for them alcohol nd food is kind of diwali celebration for them😂.
