I have been a fan of Kurt's for years.. I absolutely fell in love with his voice on the spot when I first heard You Don't Know What Love Is. I've been fortunate enough to see him perform at Birdland in NYC.. I actually had a 15 min conversation w Lawrence Hopgood. Kurt Elling is my favorite male Jazz Vocalist.. He can hold a note for an eternity.

SO utterly professional. This guy is the easiest to listen to. His innovations just seem to be the way the music should sound. My foolish heart is one of my favorites. Thank you for sharing this with us.

The combination of Kurt and Laurence is a treat! I had a pleasure to spend a week with them on the recent Jazz Cruise 2012 - amazing musicians, amazing personalities.

I've worshiped Kurt since first discovering him 5 years ago. At last saw him at Ronnie Scotts last week. Utter genius. If you get the chance to see him live..sell your car..sell your house..whatever it takes to get a ticket it is worth it. Ron Leagas

I only recently heard Kurt on a local fm station. His voice actually made me stop what I was doing and just listen. He is truly a remarkable singer and his phrasing is flawless. I hope he goes far because he certainly deserves it.

Laurence Hobgood is superb. Still listen to Kurt,but without Laurence is a bit like the Brad Mehldau Trio without Jorge Rossy.
