Niko Kurz produced some absolutely stunning finishing in his Second Round match with Gabriel Clemens, winning this set with three huge ton-plus checkouts!

He’s not committed enough yet imo to do tour card only did 2 days at q school and then missed eurochamps because he was working still got plenty of time though

Clean throw, great focus, just a bit more consistency needed so the nerves don’t get a hold of him. But bright future ahead for Kurz

Yes, I love his superclean throw aswell! Can improve on left/right spread though, which he will. I mean he's hardly training for his level. Still works his job full time and trains about 2,5 hours each day which is NOTHING. Hope he gos pro/fulltime next year with a tourcard.

I think it's because Clemens and Kurz know each other pretty well, they both haven't been celebrating their personal highlights during the match. There were quite a few, as for example the high finish series of Kurz, but being buddies while facing each other on the Oche seemed to be more invitive for being cooled down instead of enfolding energy on the stage. I'm certain about a little more energy and of course thousands of fans in the Ally Pally would have been raising the performance of both and brought on truely the magic!

Hopp doesn't need to step up to Clemens and Kurz. He Player an average of 95 in his second round game. Clemens played 96, Kurz 89. So Hopp is on the same level with Clemens and Kurz but King was too good this time.

Geeez, that clean technique; Nico is a High-Finish assassin!!! In general, Covid brought a huge push for Darts in germany... Darts-shops and online tournaments popping up behind every corner. Newspapers wrote, that during 2020 there were as many Boards sold as in the previous 5 years combined... so, I give it a few years for some german top-players facing the finals and maybe even the title.

I like Kurz's form. Very efficient. During his throws his intensity appears excessive. But he is young and can afford to exercise that aspect of his throw. As his form shapes to perfection his intensity should lessen while he settles into trust and confidence in his throw. MVG is a perfect example. His throws are mostly effortless.

difference between price and kurz when they get a good check out, kurz did some amazing checkouts but didnt shout and dance about, I dont watch when price is on.and as for wright is he always going to look like a clown?
