This used to be my favorite song in middle school. When my mom was in prison it gave me and her the comfort we needed. Now I’m going through a similar season my senior year of college. My best friend abandoned and blocked me. I was randomly reminded of this song from my middle school years and I’m sitting in the car crying. He is my strong tower and He is never going anywhere. Through him I will never be alone. God bless Kutless. Thank you for giving me the hope I need right now.

I hope things have gotten better for you in this past year. Last year I was homeless and living a pretty sinful life. I found my way back to Jesus and now live a good and happy life as I wait to move closer to my family that lives in Florida. (Live in New York atm, moving to Florida in Jan) but I also found comfort in this song in Jr high. Finding it again now after going through so much last year makes this song so much more special to me and hearts my heart each time I listen and sing it. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light!

God has been my Strong Tower since August 9, 1977. Kutless has Blessed us with this song since it's release. They are probably the best band from Portland, Oregon. Jesus Rules!

When my grandmother died in home hospice, I stood there, looking at her. I couldn't stand being in the same room as the body, so I ran downstairs and turned on my radio. They were playing Strong Tower right at that moment, and I ran to His mountain, and His mercy set me free, knowing that grandmother was finally home with Him.

I had a similar experience with this song. It gave me peace in a terrible time. God is good. My comment on it is above. By the way, my father died on home hospice just a week ago-I was his nurse. It was very difficult, I know how you felt. I wanted to run, too.

When I got up to get ready to work at the hosptial on Team A for Hurricane Katrina, taking my 3 kids there with me, my CD/radio player came on by itself (I swear) in my bathroom as I stood there wide-eyed and breathless, and this song started playing on our local Christian station, those single opening notes... I still hear it. God knew I was scared to death for my kids. I’m still in amazement to this day. My home and kids were unscathed despite the devastation all around, the eye of the storm came right over us. He truly is my strong tower, a shelter over me. ❤️🙏🏼

God showed Himself 2 me 1day when this song played. I just stsrted weeping & continued as from the tips of my fingers to my shoulders felt the fire of then holy spirit as well as a voice that said you are My son. That day sealed my faith.thank you Jesus

2008. Hawley tx. Just moved into my uncles old house. It is in the middle of summer, my window is open and there's a fresh breeze comin in with the scent of freshly mowed grass, and across the street is my church and this song is blaring on my radio as I unpack in my new room. Is it possible to smell a memory? It is for me, and I thank God every day for it! ( he had answered a prayer of mine for us to move into this house)

Wow. One of my favorite songs I've ever heard. Kutless and Demon Hunter are the two best christian bands to date I believe. This was blasting out of my speakers when my car got totalled. Climbed out of the broken window and called the police myself. There is one strong tower watching over all of us. Powerful song.

Please pray for my fiancé to love and trust God again. He lost his father almost 2 years ago to alcoholism and it’s been REALLY hard for all of us. I just want him to remember that Jesus Loves him and his Dad (a believer) is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior❤️

@@mariaalr5410 you can't lose your salvation, you might think that because you have sinned for a long time and don't feel God anymore or you were never a true Christian in the first place. There is no such thing as an ex-christian, fake Christians or Christians who have really lost their way from sinning far too much, those exist.

Kutless, thank you for making this song. I needed to hear this song back then as I do now. It's really an awesome song and I appreciate the way you created the lyrics. I thank God too because if it wasn't for Him, we wouldn't have awesome music like this song. im so glad christian music can over come barriers in the music industry to reach people and soften hearts and only if you pick up that good old book you find out every word of this is true! GOD can speak to us all in any way he chooses to even a little rock music or rap and yes the gospel....if it proclaims the good news it probably is gospel

Guys seriously, the choice to follow God can only come from a heart that is willing to receive Him. To the hardened heart that isn't ready to receive God, the message of God is foolish to believe. Only God can reach them. Waste not the time to convince them yet only pray that God moves within them. For God can do more than you ever could.
