Welcome back guys this week we are finally doing something fun with the pathfinder! I wish we could also say that we were done with maintenance but sadly we still have to replace the rear parking brake shoes. But after that we get to install our new KYB Gas A Just shocks in front and our KYB Monomax shocks in the rear. once that's all buttoned up we can install our Brand New Used wheels and tires! and I'm sure you guys are going to love them so come check it out!

Great video thank for that.i am really interested in the year of Exterra and accompanying parts. I have a 95 EX and would like a little bit more out of it.

We grabbed the replacement engine from a 2004 xterra and everything except for the AC compressor bolted right up. We just used the original pathfinder upper intake manifold. So all the electronics would plug in.

How come you didn’t go with the same style shocks for all four tires ?

I wanted the stiffer mono max all around but they don't make them for the pathfinder. The rear from the hardbody is close enough but the front isn't so i had to settle for the gas a just front shocks. Loved how the back felt but the front was a little soft in comparison.

You ever try to change the oil pan gasket

Yes I did reseal the pan before dropping the new engine in. I typically don't use gaskets but instead use an RTV silicone that is meant for oil.

Yea, you are right. Why would anyone lower a truck. Trucks are for working, not looks. Unless you are just too cool. 2 cents, Huh. It's like getting a 4 wherl drive and converting it to a 2 wheel drive. Why waste a 4 wheel drive? Another 2 cents.
