No never talk about Murray in a trade. We need to see his growth for one more year. He is a great balance for the team, not just for his skill but for his attitude in the locker room and on the court. We have Kevin and other players that we could make look good at the beginning of the year a bit to get better trade value and move them for someone because if Murray grows even 20% more and learns to balance out his energy from offense and defense so he doesn’t loose his shot he could be looked at as an all star in two more years and we don’t want to loose that.

I’m a life long Wiz fan. Kuzma is solid on both ends. He’s improved at point forward & he is durable, hardly sits out. If you believe you can get Kyle Kuzma with the 13th pic in this year’s draft that’s a pipe dream🤷🏽‍♂️. There are other teams that are looking for his services in particular with his team, friendly contract. Two of which I’ve heard are rumored to offer up two first rounds. Detroit, San Antonio, OKC, Nuggets, Philly, Miami etc… All rumored to have Kuzma on their radar. In a stacked western conference, the kings need to be careful as it pertains to lowballing. Doesn’t matter who the player is they may find themselves trying to make the play-in tournament for the next several years.

@@Facelessman276 Whether you believe it or not Kuz is still on our team & the Dallas Mavericks offered two low 1st round picks. The problem is teams always talk about what they want and what they need, but those teams don’t always factor in their potential trade partners wants & needs. If you don’t do that you’re wasting your time.

@@EccentricKnight 2 in the mid 20’s ain’t much better than 13. Let’s just see how it plays out. Our franchises aren’t exactly known for excellence. I do , however, like the moves your new leadership team has made thus far. There was definitely no quick fix but they’ve done a nice job cleaning things up to set the stage for a better future.

@@Facelessman276 I hear you. I would agree if this years draft isn’t the worse in the past decade. However, the 13th pic is more like the 20th pick in this year‘s draft. Nonetheless, I believe Kuzma fits seamlessly into what you all need. His contract being very team friendly is a good trade for any team. He will also take pressure off of De’Aaron Fox at point forward.

There's multiple reports out that the Wizards have been asking for 2 firsts since the deadline and nobody is interested. Because he's not worth that. The 13th pick may very well be amongst the best they will get.

Wouldn’t want to trade Barnes in an Ingram trade because I’d want more quality depth at forward as part of the deal, particularly with Ingram’s injuries. Perhaps a big shooting guard might be more attractive to New Orleans, with their forward depth? Definitely no Barnes trade with Kuzma. A Kuzma trade could be a good one, but would have to be the right deal. Bridges doesn’t get you to a title window without forward depth, one of Sacramento’s biggest weaknesses. The Nets have Mikal playing SG, although he’d be a SF on the Kings. Trade Huerter, expiring contracts, and 3 1sts. The picks are what they’re going for if they’re rebuilding. What deal ‘can’ the Kings get? That’s the real question, as not all 3 teams will go for what the Kings offer. Resigning Brown should be priority #1 to getting to a championship window. Resigning Monk will certainly affect negotiations as well for other players.

Not sure Murray for Bridges would make this team a contender. Just upgrading Murray's position is not the answer with more important holes in the team. I like the idea of adding Bridges, but only if he is added to our 3 core pieces of Fox, Domass, and Murray.

Between the options of Kyle Kuzma or Brandon Ingram, I lean towards Ingram. I am not sure financially how the trade would work, so I am not right now going to put forth an idea. However, I do think it would involve Harrison Barnes and Kevin Huerter, possibly Davion Mitchell and the pick as well. Of which, I would have no issues with. I think the Kings have another solid backup point guard, keeping Malik Monk and adding Ingram would greatly improve the team. Playing it safe this off-season, is not an option if the Kings want to be a 50+ win team and make the playoffs, preferably with a very deep run. The Kings were good during the season. But have not gotten to greatness yet. Now, there are other players than Ingram, so one needs to keep an open mind. Hopefully, the Kings figure it out. I think Monte McNair and Mike Brown will figure out a game plan and execute it. If it can't be done for Ingram or Kuzma, then even though there is the injury risk with him, I turn to the Clippers and Paul George. The Kings need to add some of the offensive firepower back to the team. So whomever is added, I just hope that it is someone who is a game changer. Get that person and I think the guys who make up for the depth loss will want to come and play in Sacramento seeing a legit chance to compete for a title.

Exactly , Mike brown is a good coach , soon as our ownership decides to make moves to get better they will see how much better and consistent our team would be . Fox and sabonis need another piece or 2 along with keeping monk and Keegan taking a jump

I gotta be honest, I love Keegan but if we could get Bridges.. its the kinda player I'd legitimately consider the trade for and if Monte pulled the trigger I wouldn't be mad at all. I think we need a serious shake up for this team if its not Bridges I'd risk the rental with Ingram. Personally don't think Kuzma is enough.

None of those players will make kings better then any top teams in the west plus you need to pay them along with Fox,Sabonis, and Keegan will need to get paid at some point. I would rather them improve in the draft,trade up if there is a player they want to target

Lmao the only team would’ve been Denver and they might lose KCP. The title is open now while fox/Sabonis are in there prime. Keegan should improve again and Ellis will be a lot better with an off season and minutes

Keegan going into his 3rd year should get better , fox and sabonis don’t got time to wait around for more player developments , we need solid talent around them NOW ! No more messing around go get Ingram , kuzma, see if you can sign Jarrett Allen

So, who's going to be the player that gets this team in the 40 before 20 column? (40 wins before 20 losses) IMO, Ingram is a better fit because he doesn't have to carry the franchise and patches a lot more holes than Kuzma.

Pels fan here: you can have BI, but you have to include his stans as well. They are insufferable and I personally would like nothing better than to be rid of them! I like BI, but he’s not worth the $40 mil per. That might be the going rate, but I think most Pels fan feel we can get a better #2 with maybe Trae Young or Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen package. There is also Detroit where we can get Duren and maybe Ivey. Harrison Barnes is not a player we would want.

No way we get Ingram. Kuzma, maybe but we would have to give up a lot because a 15-win Washington team won't want Barnes and Lyles. Bridges is a longshot. I think the Kings are going to have a VERY VERY difficult time bringing any of those 3 players here. Especially without giving up Keegan.

If i had to choose a player to target it would be Kyle kuzma Over Brandon Ingram. . Kyle is on the floor more. BI... Is a bucket .. but his $$ will be more than Kyle.

We should go get kuzma... go get him, he will be locked up, and you still have flexibility to get whoever later, and have both players with the cap rise. Plus, if it doesn't work, you can get almost everything you spent back in trade.. we keep waiting for no reason, and if we make a pick, we waste another asset.. when we could be adding on top of him..this is silly. i would even throw a second or two on to have his valuable deal in my books, as it goes down for a player like that... Those are exactly the margin deals you want to exploit to build and win...it is primed for this team to take advantage of...just think about it then you would have Fox, hopefully Monk, kuzma, Keegan, Sabonis, / Ellis, Barnes, Lyles,len, and jones,( (i would try vezenkof again) gotta find a way to make a euro league mvp work) )and STILL be flexible to maybe add another really good player as you drop some more dead weight roster spots coming coming up.or need to move some of these bottom guys who aren't working.stop wasting time and assets...

@@SKOOBZTERZ yep, only a couple years before sabonis hit 30 they are running out of time...i still think the kuzma deal is a smart because it allows for the addition of 2 quality players with his deal... you can still build heavy on top of him... especially if you drop a couple more dead weight players from the roster and more of these super teams that went for it fail into oblivion and players want out

The problem with both Kuzma and BI would be the same and they both are "as long as I get mine" players, neither would be willing to just fit in as a third or fourth option on offense and maybe if I feel like it on defense. Also I think a move like that would stunt if not almost halt Keegan's growth. Now on paper these moves look ok but if I think the risk out weighs the possible reward. Your wildcard is interesting but I think what the Kings would have to give up might be to high to justify (doesn't happen without Keegan). What about Rui Hachimura?

So from what I hear around the league Ingrams head isn’t always present. Some nights he’s hungry and other nights he acts as if the game is an inconvenience to him. Kuzma is good but not great. Honestly I don’t want to make a trade just to make one. If we can’t keep monk then go for Kuzma as our six man. If we can keep Monk possibly still go for Kuzma for our six man but only with the first package you mentioned. I like your wild card but I don’t think we can get Bridges. If we can then yes. I also will be happy keeping everyone together again with the mindset of making Kevin look good and a couple other bench players look good to go for a mid season trade. After all the years of being on the bottom I want to get to the top while having the ability to fight to stay there for more than just one year. Remember we beat the top teams last year. We need to clean up our consistency and continue to grow. If monk didn’t get injured when he did we would have been in the playoffs and who knows what would have happened then.

No on Ingram. Guy hasn’t even played a full season. Too expensive for someone so unreliable. He did not show out in playoffs this year either. I’m for Kuzma without giving up current needed talent. Hang onto 1st round picks wherever possible.

I would bet my house, that the kings wont get Bridges in a trade, when they not even shipping Murray to brooklyn. Like Matt said, 29 other team will chase Bridges aswell and im sure, that at least 10-12 teams can offer better packages for Bridges. Especially if the kings dont include Murray, they wont have any chance.
