@@patv2535 Kyle shanahan style is injury prone. He makes play calls that assume it's the first play of the season every time. Christian McCaffrey has an extensive injury history. Debo has been injured. I don't think bosa is all the way healthy. Kyle shanahan last QB that was healthy for the playoffs was Matt Ryan. I expected Seattle to win the division. Young roster. Competent quarterback with low mileage who avoids foolishness. Seattle more sustainable. San Francisco is like Kauai Leonard. Dominant if healthy. Healthy days are past.

Spectators probably wouldn't have noticed that there wasn't a safety there, but it still would have been a bad call. I'll always defend taking calculated risks, even when it doesn't work out. Taking risks only makes sense when there's upside if the plan works. There was no upside here.

As Dan Orlovasky says - anyone can call a play, a good coach calls a game With so few seconds left, any good coach would give them the middle of the field, tackle and the half would be over If he was going to send a blitz then the CB's must be told, don't go for a pick, don't take chances, there is no one behind you, let them make the catch, then tackle and the half is over Either that was not communicated or the CB got tempted and went for the pick But Shanahan himself did the same thing against the Pats in the Super Bowl Up by 8 at the 20 yard line, all they needed was 3 straight runs, kick the field goal go up by 11 - 2 scores and - with so little time left, the Super Bowl was theirs Instead he called a play & lost everything

Well the play was actually a good call. Cousins threw the ball directly to the DB who let a 170 pound guy take the ball from him. He literally picked the ball on a similar play to begin the game.

Nobody knows what those coaches talked about. For all we know coach Wilkes told Shannahan he messed up and owned up to it.

Why are they acting like Shannahan blamed Wilkes for the loss? He didn’t. He was asked about that play and all he said was Wilkes knows he messed up, that that was a bad time to call that play. He even said he has no issue with the play itself just the clock management aspect of it

Jones is a 1000% right! I get what Shady is saying about sensitive players and coaches but this need to be handled in house not on the media. I feel like shady only likes this because it gives them something to talk about which bring in ratings. Shady made James's point, with the boss comment. They can't talk about their bosses to the media but Bosses can.... That's completely one sided. Again I feel like Shady is saying this for the disagreement/ratings which sucks. The biggest part that they didn't speak about is how does this look to the fans and players on the team. Doesn't scream camaraderie or cohesion. Players aren't sure about what is happening behind closed doors and the fans will start to take sides, which in turn could rip apart a team that is extremely solid. PS: i never agree with Jones's takes, as I'm an eagles fan and love Shady to death. Long live 25!!!! but James is so right here, personally.
