Great vid been trying to find a technique that'll most likely work that I wont have to throw that fast to land it (like just by forcing it in cause that's when injury occurs)

Maybe that would work in that style only . Any other style he’s leaving that head wideeeee open. Plenty of good head kick set ups out there that keep your head protected. Muay Thai! 💪💪👊👊

You can set it up the same way with body shots in any striking rule, is simple,, make you oponent pay attention to the body with punches and go for the head.

Impractical in a real fight. Kyokushin rules do not allow punches to the head. He leaves his head completely exposed.

Yes but who is protecting your own head? Certainly not you if your throwing body shot after body shot and never even guarding your own head man:/ when you throw a punch it should always come back to guard not down by your chest with you face and head widdee open. Watch the video

@@jasongulvartian5163 Did you never have seem someone doing 3x body shots, 4x? Coming back to your guard aways and aways keeping your hands on your head is a tip for beginners to create good habbits, but if you want to improve your game you have to "break the rules", this combo is effective and you can easily adapt it to function on your style.

Lucas da Silvera I agree a constant guard is beginner thing and I agree when you become more confident and skilled you can drop guard more but the debate here isn’t about that it’s about how this style of fighting is only Useful if you in competition and fighting the same style. I see no guard at all being displayed in this style and that’s prob because you aren’t allowed to punch the head it seems. Sooo because of this rule I believe that a style like Muay Thai would quickly destroy the head because of how open it is even a boxer would take advantage of the 0 use of guard in this style. That’s my argument

It's just a set up. U can do a jab jump away ,jab jump away then try again for the head kick. I dont know shit about set ups I only know how to try to defend strikes at me so I guess I dont know but it makes sense to me

why would you look down in a fight / spar?
@lucasatrox
@lucasatrox 5 жыл бұрын
to try your oponent into believing that is where you aiming for, is not looking into the ground, is looking into the oponent body

there is a plenty of fighters that fight with hands low and the focus of the combo is to bring the hands low with body shots, with will happen if you put powerful shots to the body
