I stayed in women-only area of a designer capsule hotel in Kyoto, Japan (女性専用エリアカプセルホテル京都日本). The name of the hotel is MAJA HOTEL KYOTO (マヤホテルキョウト).

This time I stayed in the "Sleep-in Hut" room.

This capsule hotel was designed by the famous Finnish designer "Harri Koskinen". Linens and curtains were made by Marimekko, and it was a special space.
There is a women-only area, and some days are completely women-only. It was a wonderful space and I was able to have a comfortable experience unlike other capsule hotels. Watch the video for details!

What a lovely wood designed, clean, fresh & cosy hotel. My only criticism is the noisey bed blind!

It's really nice for a capsule. Unfortunately, I need total silence for sleep and capsule hotels are the antithesis to that. But definitely better than having to spend a night at a Manga-kissa, for sure.
