Күн бұрынThe Last Samurai, a licensed tour guide in Kyoto visits Kyoto Sword Festival held at Miyako Messe in Okazaki park, Kyoto city and introduces sword shops, sword performances and the national competition of Iaido. Every year they hold this at Golden week ( May 3rd and 4th ) . You can buy real Katana or enjoy the sword show or try Katana yourself and you can see the national competition of Iaido.

What a wonderful event! Would love to go there with a fat wallet. 😁 Wonderful tameshigiri demonstrate, particularly using a wakizashi which I have not seen before. So many mats cut. I'm envious; it is almost impossible to source them here in England at the moment.
