Would you believe that Kevin Schuer is a real-life doctor at the University of Kentucky? And all this time I thought he was a professional singer who did covers of Huey Lewis and The News and now Mister Mister. Regardless of his day job; Doctor Kevin is a world-class talent who fits in perfectly with the rest of the LLB crew.

I’m firmly convinced there is not a song out there that the Lexington Lab Band cannot do just as well or better than the original. Watching the progression of quality from the earliest videos (yes, I’ve gone back and watched most of them!) to now has been nothing short of amazing and closer and closer to perfection. The talent of the musicianship and the obvious camaraderie and affection you all have for one another is truly inspiring. Once again, I thank you for helping to keep great music alive!

🔥🔥🔥WOW! Alright now that was so much fun! That song was released my Senior year of high school. The local music store (Tape World I believe) was playing it in our mall. I had this song before most of my friends. I couldn't stop smiling when I saw that LLB had a new release. Kevin and Jessica knocked it out of the park but man did the band ever rock on this one! Thank all of you so much!

I was privileged enough to go see Mister Mister on this tour back in the day. This was at the time, their number one hit. You guys nailed this song, everyone knew their part and it was as good as the original. So once again, I feel privileged to have shared this with everyone else. Outstanding performance

Ya know, getting the notes just right...and I mean DEAD right on the instruments is a helluva thing... Getting the vocals SPOT ON is another thing entirely and the vast majority of the listening public have just no idea how hard it is to get the right vocalist, matched to the right song, with the right musicians, laying down the beautiful tracks, and then tweaking it with just the right effects. From pre-vis, to execution, to mixing and mastering -- Y'all have it PERFECT .. I know how hard this is, and you are ALL well deserving of the accolades.

Absolute perfection!! Stunning performance!! Unbelievable sound! Pure class!!! The shear ability to perform such a vast array of music Hits with absolute perfection one after the other and year after year is just mind blowing. The singer selections are always spot on, and the players are always matched perfectly to the style, tone and task at hand. The most intriguing part of the entire LLB experience is the incredible production quality. Absolutely incredible. I have determined after a few years of listening to youtube bands that LLB is by far the best cover band on our planet.

This is crazy! Not so long ago, our favourite radio station played Kyrie while we were cruising in the mountains with the top down. I said to my wife that this was a tune LLB should do with Kevin doing the lead vocals. As it turns out, you already had done it in April and as always, you have captured the essence of Mr. Mister’s work. Cheers guys!

I always know I will love any song that LLB does, but this is special. This takes me back to high school being in the car with the windows down and the stereo blasting. Kevin and Jessica are perfect with the vocals. The production to get the perfect keyboard sounds is out of this world. The thing I appreciated the most was watching Austin at 3:11 and seeing how much fun he was having. You can tell he connected with this song. This group is light and happiness in a dark world. Please keep going as long as possible. You are loved and appreciated.

Love how the bassist plays the arpeggiated bass synth as well, at the beginning. The keyboardist... the chords and sound at 1:05 are absolutely huge. This is ear candy.

In Geneva, Switzerland underground there is a swirling vortex of particles called the LHC. In Lexington, KY there is a swirling vortex of amazing talent that has coalesced into near musical perfection....called the LLB. Thanks for another amazing performance.

I'm a product of the 80s; this song was a big part of my youth. Damn. You NAILED IT. I can listen to an endless stream of cover bands who want to give us their impression of a song. Growing up we had 1 cassette tape of an albumn, and one radio station to listen to, and both played the same version of the songs we liked. We know every second of these songs - and that's how we want to hear them. An 'interpretation' of the songs we grew up with sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard for us. THANK YOU for your work to be faithful to the original in every way. You simply nailed this one.
