w9j15g I'm fairly certain that in every state a student is eligible to leave high school with parental consent at the age of 16, I know in my state they can. Without parental consent the age is usually 18.
@trollfinger
@trollfinger 9 жыл бұрын
w9j15g I live in Ireland and I left school at 16 to take up full time employment because I believed at the time that I was educated enough to work in the type of job I'd probably end up in. I worked for a good few years and then went to college to obtain a degree. People can leave school to get life experience, naively believing they have something better to do than be educated. There's a loss in the balance somewhere, I believe. I didn't become the leader of a cult, though. Not yet, anyway.
@mosipd
@mosipd 9 жыл бұрын
Foxtrot Hotel Your the second person to reply to my comment defending the idea of leaving school early. The difference is that Miscavige never finished high school, whether by obtaining an equivalency degree or going on to college. I'm not criticizing those who wish to leave school early and obtain education by other means, something Miscavige obviously hasn't done.

FYI - He says David Miscavige is 22yrs old, so that dates the interview to either late 1982 or early 1983. Nobody confirmed the manipulation of Miscavige within the church in those years until very recently - startling that this was revealed publicly back then. This tells you that he knew what he was talking about.

I almost had to click off of this early she was so intolerable. So obvious what she was trying to do. And “journalists” have not changed a bit. They are instructed to psychologically manipulate their guests and also plant beliefs in the audience’s head…like believing black magick is just so far out there, it can’t be true. Well lady, there are many things you along with politicians, Hollywood, and more have tried to program people to believe are fictional when in fact, we have been in a very real spiritual battle since the beginning of time. Sorcery, channeling, “pharmakeia” and the like go way back and practices have carried on through the ages.

Back around 1968, I went into a "Scientology Recruitment Center" just off of Market St in San Francisco. I spent 10 or 15 minutes there while chap was giving me the rundown/spiel on it. It was not for me. And never has been. It is primarily a business, not a religion. L Ron Hubbard had little respect for Scientologists; his admiration was for other Science Fiction writers.

Actually, the Cross of Jesus is a lot older than Christianity. Also Scientology's cross has nothing to do with Christianity. It's an occult symbol. I recommend you look up the organization created by Aleister Crowley called the "OTO." also the fact that Hubbard was a personal assistant to Jack PArsons from JPL who was a practitioner of Majic and occultism might make things clearer about this "church." Just because something is referred to as a church or a cross doesn't automatically make it Christian. Christianity itself bases a lot of it's rituals and traditions on pagan cults...otherwise who would want to join if there weren't presents and happy happy treats to consume.

robison87 BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I love the religious imagination. You believe the devil is real, but all other evil gods are not. Theyre just myths. You just happen to be in a culture where your particular belief is real. Wow what a coincidence! Arent you the lucky one to be born in the right culture that has the only correct belief!

'Quentin' - and it appears that he was done away with, and made to appear a 'suicide'. Same with Shawn Lonsdale recently.

I'm glad he's exposing this. I seen it a mile away. The reporter seems to be trying to through shade as if he's to be untrusted.

Scientology takes over your life. This why people drop out of High school. I did the same thing when I joined the Sea Org. After the Sea Org I couldn't get a job at McDonald's because I had no diploma.

Carol Randolph was unbelievably rude and dismissive in this interview. The shots of the audience laughing and smiling like he was some kind of lunatic make me just want to slap them. The knowledge that is available right now supports everything he is saying.

Dewolf tried several times to take control of his father's estate. Each time the courts shut him down. He can complain all he wants but fact is that his father disinherited him and he was pissed off about it. In 1987 or so, Dewolf was in some litigation over a book that someone wrote and claimed that Dewolf was the source of most of the information on Hubbard and credited Dewolf as co-author. Dewolf was having none of it. In a declaration (or an affidavit) for the court proceedings, Dewolf apologized for what he had every said about his father and that he deeply regretted the sorrow he caused his father. He said that he made it up. It can still be found online somewhere. Sounds like an estrangement that went very bad when a bitter vengeful son tried to cause his father as much humiliation and damage as he could no matter how much he had to lie about him. Very sad but can happen in the best of families.

Can doyle6315 provide the exact date of this interview please? The host says it is 1983. Interesting saying he has disappeared at that time but he did not actually die until 1986.

i took the test once for shits and giggles and the people at the center got mad at me because i had high results showing that i am not depressed and all that jazz so they couldn't manipulate me. my friend showed signs of depression and they bombarded her with sales pitches. they wanted her to buy an electro shock machine. i wish i was making that up but i was right there. they said it would change her brain waves lol
