In today's video I'm going to do a full buying guide of the WHOLE Private Collection from Dior or La Collection Privee Christian Dior. I'm going to speak about all 35 fragrances that are currently available on their website so also the exclusive ones as well as one discontinued one that still can find in some stores.
I will also go throught all possible comparisons so for some fragrances I will also mention who it compares to other well known fragrances so it's going to be a long video, but I will try to put time stamps so you can skip to the fragrances that you are mostely interested in.

Hello Noura, just discovered your channel and I am very much enjoying it. It's kind of therapeutic for me to listen to you talking about perfumes. I'm interested in getting from the Collection peony Rose raspberry fragrance. It sounds like holy peony and la colle noire have similar notes. Which one would you recommend and what's the difference for you between them? Also, some reviews say that holy peony smells to them like cranberry juice. Thank you so very much and my best wishes!

Hi Noura, your video is so appreciated thank you. I tested Vanilla Diorama next to Diptyque Eau Duelle EDP and I decided to go for Eau Duelle. Rouge Trafalgar gave me Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming which I treasure.

Everyone says lucky doesn’t last but it lasts all day on me with great performance. I didn’t get it due to everyone stating it’s like water with no scent. My husband bought it for me and omg I’m surprised it lasts all day on me and can be smelled at an arms reach. I’ve also received a lot of compliments when wearing it

My fav are la colle noir and jasmin des anges but am so disappointed about the longevity ! It lass no more than 1hour ! So expensive for what it is

How would you compare Holy Peony to Dior’s Blooming Bouquet? I LOVE a peony scent and own BB but it lasts all of 10 min on my skin 😢 I am looking for smth similar with better performance. And yes, I have watched your video on peony scents, but some of the ones you mentioned are more rose/ light floral scents and not really peony forward. Versace Crystal …. I don’t get any peony there. But I would appreciate any words of wisdom you could give me 😬 Love your channel, always check your reviews when I’m doing scent research. Thank you!

They are totally different. You can compare Holy Peony more to Absolutely Blooming than to Blooming Bouquet

But I guess if you are ok with fruity and want longevity then Holy Peony is a good choice although non of the Peony fragrances that come to my mind have excellent performance. Peony by definition is a very soft and light scent 🤔

I actually ended up ordering a bunch of samples for peony-centric fragrances. And Holy Peony smells more like a rose to me than peony. I have not found one that hits the nail on the head, but the closest so far is AdP Peonia Nobile. So thank you for the video! And yea I would even settle for just a pretty pink-ish kind of floral, but the one from Dior is not it at all. What really smells good (and to my annoyance bc it’s very pricey) is Atelier des Ors Pink me Up- very pretty fruity floral that’s not too complicated and just says « spring » to me. I normally hate rose, but if I were to get one it would be MFK a la rose EDP. It’s so fresh and realistic, and not at all oily or red. Reads more like a pale pink rose maybe even with some dew drops on the petals. Def thinking about it 😊

At the moment my favorite for men would be: Bois d'Argent, Santal Noir, Ambre Nuit and Balade Sauvage. Since FK became the in perfumer they released a new version on Bois d'Argent that I did not smell yet and it supposed to be the original Bois d'Argent (before Demachy's reformulation).

Okay, I'm boiling now. First, I am originally from Cairo, Egypt. During my collage years, I rode the subway for an hour daily. If you think the Cairo subway smell of BO then you have never been on Newyork subway, Paris subway, or a public bus in LA. your comment is scraping racism and classism to say the least. second I own Dior EAU NOIRE and loooove it. Opening of fizzy, peppery, Coffee, tobacco, incense, licorice goodness. Middle is powdery leather, myrrh, musk, woods, and lavender. On the dry down, it's the best mix of sea salt, honey, gourmand skin scent ever. It is a complex masterpiece of old world-class. For me, it's the best of Francis Kurkdjian, even when I own Le Male, oud satin mood and baccarat rouge 540.
