3 жыл бұрынSun Resorts and La Pirogue were kind enough to host my family and I recently. We had a fabulous time meeting the kindest, nicest staff ever, and had the opportunity to try some scrumptious food and drinks, as well as learn some phrases from the local language Creole.

Just back from 10 days in paradise, it was our third time at the hotel, we have a family tradition, my in laws used to visit every year, my father in law was a Mauritian who left the island age 19, became a doctor in the UK…..sadly no longer with us, so last trip was time for me to lay rest some of my ghosts…..I feel that the hotel staff knew this, it was such a wonderful time, the heat was pretty high, but humidity off the scale, we plan to go back in November next year…..it holds such a special place in our hearts, and yes we did speak Kreole …..that was fun, lovely video by yourselves, makes just want to go back, I would conclude and say that this hotel has to be the very best at giving you an incredible relaxed time…brilliant

I might add, we are lucky to have many relatives in Quatre Bourne…..our plan in four to seven years time is to stay on the island for a few months late in each year, to escape the cold of Jersey…..we think we will rent, though the thought of relocating does interest us….we will see…..love the island, and lucky me, my wife being half Mauritian cooks lots of Mauritian food, as do I…..glad I stumbled upon your excellent site..thank you.

Very old hotel and glad it is still going.I remember this hotel 40 years ago and its name was on everyone's lips.

It was built in the 70’s and is one of the oldest hotels here. I think they’ve captured the Mauritian charm perfectly with the fishing village style. I love the place, and the people working there are so friendly.

My wife family are from Tamarin, and we are going back there after 3 years since covid. Spent our honeymoon there in 2017. So amazing. You're videos give me great memories of this magical place. Cant wait to return. Thank You Lucy. Keep up the 'top' work. Love from Ireland.

Thank you so much! We're adapting to these interesting times, but we need to be fully operational here soon. So many hotels are near bankruptcy....It's a sad state of affairs.

You video (with drone) is soo good. Shows so many things. Liked the cooking demonstration. Jalebi is one of my favourite. Stayed there once, when we got a great deal (its very expensive otherwise). This clip brought back all the memories. Thanks!!!!!

We are an animal loving exploring family, two kids 17 and 19 and we are both 58. We fancy hiring a car - what do you recommend? Anything you can help is much appreciated, you are so lucky to live in paradise!

Lovely video. It makes me so sad though, it so quiet and empty during what should be one of their busiest times, I just hope that with the prospect of a vaccine in the not too distant future that normal life will resume and all those empty sun loungers will have a guest sunning themselves.

Hi Natalie. It is sad indeed. While part of me loves the peace and quiet at the moment, seeing the way businesses and people are suffering to survive is very hard. This island relies heavily on tourism. We need to function normally soon... Crossing fingers for an end to this pandemic in the next few months.
