This is to offset the new minimum wage . The owner is supposed to pay the employees, not the customers .It's because of the new minimum wage. Cheap. A great meal , all included should be about 10 to 15 dollars -plus 15 % tip ( 1 to 2 dollars) Total : 11 to 17 dollars per meal. . No tip if bad service or bad food. Only pay in cash and leave the tip on the table. in cash. Never use a card.

Choose another restaurant that doesn't add extra fees. It's a restaurant's responsibility to protect their customers. It's in their best interest too. They just don't want to absorb the cost. Go somewhere else.

Lol it’s one of those double edged situations. Crime is rampant due to the current political climate. And to give a safer environment they pay for security. However the thing that gets to me is I don’t get how big corporations get away with to keep business running they need to raise fees while people are struggling. Yet the executives and CEO seem to make more and more money. Like I always say they are not happy with 25 mansions so they hire less staff don’t pay them adequately and raise price on a vow that they want to keep quality good and fast yet quality goes down they hire less staff and they still are able to get 50 mansions. Instead of complaining about prices and employee wages just boycott companies that follow those ethics. Guarantee when they have the options to make less money or no money they will choose less money as it can spark cheaper alternative competition.

They aren't looking far enough ahead, I would sue them if a security breach happened, and that could be anything from a robbery up to and including harm of anyone around me or myself! Calling it a security fee opens them up BIG TIME! It doesn't matter where they put the extra coast, it is still an increase. I can buy $6.50 of hamburger meet and make 3 burgers for the price of one, at a dinner or fast food. Buns, tomato, onions, pickle, once bought they could make several with the correct amount of meat bought. So if I had $20 I could make about 3 or 4 hamburgers. (Meat weight 6oz ea. is fine enough). On another note, I myself have no more desire to dine out. More over, Fast food is a thing of the past as of last Monday. I don't eat fast food anyways but I would never go from the $1.99 burger made with animals ends, to $22 burger made from animal ends.

If anyone has been to the Perch lately, they'll know towards the latter part of the evening, after the demographic change, why additional security is needed.... Just saying...
