Currently, it's nearly impossible to find anything that isn't somehow harmful, whether it is meat, dairy, vegetables, fruits, grown or processed, it all contains something we should not consume. Food preparation and consumption has turned into a tedious cultural exercise primarily designed for pleasure. At this point I might almost prefer to squeeze a perfectly balanced concoction of mush into my mouth for nutrition, and be done with it. If I could get all the necessary nutrients and substance my body needs without worrying about garbage ingredients and insidious chemicals used to grow it getting into my food, it would seem like a win and a time saver. But I suppose anything produced in a lab is going to have unnecessary chemicals added to it to increase palatability and shelf life. It appears we are screwed any way you look at it. Maybe the Star Trek food replicator is the way to go - "Tea, Earl Grey, hot."

Why? you eat shittier meat that is supposed to be real. More Eco, more animal-friendly, less chance of disease and perfect muscle to fat ratio :D
