One of the many things I’m looking forward to once the Tories have been voted out of office, is a full enquiry into Tory corruption in the award of lucrative government contracts to donors, cronies and even family members. The Labour Party have pledged to appoint a covid corruption minister once in office, and even now, the police are already investigating the PPE contracts scandal linked to Baroness Mone and her husband Doug Barrowman. They have arrested one man and interviewed at least five suspects under caution. And so it begins.
I appreciate all of you who share my videos with friends and social media. Together, let's help bring this extreme right wing government to an end.

It’s a lot easier for agencies such as DWP and Inland Revenue to go after soft and more compliant targets like pensioners, ordinary working people, etc than the very wealthy, people with connections and smart lawyers.

Are you certain that you properly comprehend how much a billion quid is? £7,200,000,000 is the estimated amount of fraud. That would buy a lot of Fraud Squad investigation hours.

Well how much public money has been paid to solicitors to claw the money back...and that will drag on for years. If there's any evidence of fraud, obviously the police should be doing the investigations. IMO.

@@martinahardaker8739 Neither of us have any idea how much has been paid to Solicitors but in the Mone case, at least, the Department is seeking to recover the money paid for the contract PLUS costs as is the usual practice with breach of contract (so the public money for Solicitors would be recovered in the settlement should the company, Mone, her Husband ect be found at fault. As for the Police investigation, that is a separate issue and obviously IS occurring as there has been an arrest and others have been interviewed in relation to the case. Time will tell if there are more arrests and any charges but that shows the Police ARE investigating. I'm not exactly clear on your position but are you proposing that £ billions in potentially fraudulently obtained public money shouldn't be recovered because there is an inevitable cost in chasing it?

Yes, glad to,agree. Those with such little, weak minds will always agree with the Farage’s of the world. Nobody talking about those who virtually voted for the killing of children in Gaza, that includes Starmer. All politicians with very few exceptions are flawed.
