@PahEz the only guy ryan might struggle against for a round is levanm other than that hed never lose a round. I think people pick on him because we all know he isnt beating levan 4-0. Ya after the first round in which Levan will elbow foul to avoid losing.then ryan will foul out due to showboating, but ofc he just flashpins levan 4 times in a row after that.

He is in kott and eastvswest because he is the legit representative of australia but he often struggles against elite athletes of his category

I'd just like to say how impressed I am with the young ref. Looks like he's barely shaving but he is assertive, fair, takes control of the match, but keeps it moving. When you're over 40 like me, sometimes you just can't help notice smart young blokes and wish you were that good at his age

Whats Ryan saying? Missing the jump?... if he could do it right? The strength gap is so massive. Not even close. Ryan has hit his ceiling and max potential. The lack of competition for Ryan has stunted his growth. Lachlan is getting stronger even he is already the number 1 in Oceania. Competing in europe has elevated Lachlan's strength and power to new heights.

You can't say that when Ryan is precisely getting better. Yes; the gap is big and Ryan had no chance but nothing tells us if he continues hs new way of training + use the same kind of pancakes as Lachlan, that he couldn't close the gap or even beat him. We don't know yet.

@@shakya00 Alright, Ryan is getting better but so is Lachlan. Lachlan is getting better in many ways each time he pulls against pullers who are coming from Europe and North America. Look at Devon, perfect example, he pulls against so many people from entry to world class pullers, he doesnt train with the same small number of people. Access to Europe and North America has elavated his to reach new heights. You see people visiting and training with guys from different gyms. Lachlan is going though this. Videos, pancakes and weights are not gonna do it. People gain valuable info from gripping up and table time against different top talents. Sandris Sedis, changes his training and thoses changes resulted from pulling against devon, against worlds pullers or international competions and very specific for him. If Ryan competes in those competitions, i would feel that he will have more chances of beating Lachlan. Even if ryan bests or achieves the aame weight that lachlan can pull, Lachlan will still be favourite. You gotta pull against the best to unlock new levels of power and strength.

Not some, most. Elites by definition will always be a level only a select minority can achieve with brutal hard work and persistence. The rest, even with chemical enhancement like blue, have no chance.

Bowen starts in a weaker position. He puts his elbow on the wrong side of the pad, so that it will be harder to pull towards you. He has already bent himself, so that a normal press from the opponent will kill him

The strength gap is pretty obvious here. Technique, starting positioning while all helps the gap here is too large to really matter. Hand, wrist, back pressure all of it you can just see the two different tiers here.

That is the ruleset we have for AWE however this match wasn't scheduled and just happened out of the blue, Jamie Barrett thankfully jumped in to referee but wasn't aware of all the AWE rules etc. I still think he did a great job & the starts seems to be fairly fair etc.

Lachlan has been competing against some really good guys while Bowen hasn’t been pulling anyone worth mentioning. If Bowen wants to be at a really high level he should probably start pulling better competition and training with better pullers and he’ll definitely improve.

I dont know why Lachlan is so pumped its not like he hasnt won against Ryan before. He gets stomped whenever he faces real competition. Thats not hate but reality and I like where Lachlan is going in the sport.
