my heart goes out to this family.

I became a single mom when my daughter was 8 months old. I never wanted another man around my daughter, but had I found a stepfather like Laci's I would have remarried. This man really, really loved Laci even though she was his stepdaughter

Such deception to Laci and her sweet family.

This is just as heartbreaking as it was 20 years ago. Her poor father breaking down 😭.

Never has anything touched me quite as much as this. Out of all the different messages that I had heard nothing hit me nearly as hard as her father Dennis Rocha crying and pleading how much they loved Laci and pleading please let us have her back. I simply couldn't hold back tears. Even though I didn't even know them personally I felt so bad for them. Especially because usually within the first 24-48 hrs of them first missing generally concludes with finding their body. I kept asking myself it couldn't be a kidnap. Who in the hell would kidnap a woman Especially if she's pregnant. No burglars are going to kidnap a pregnant woman. They're only interested in valuables. And I doubt very seriously if she would've confronted them anyway in her condition. That's when I turned my focus on the husband. I began to notice more closely his actions. His whole demeanor was way off. I never got to meet miss Laci Rocha. Now I never will here on earth. I pray now I make it to heaven and that I get to meet her there. I'll probably never get to meet her family. I just want them to know that a part of me aches for them to. RIP Laci and Connor.

Thank you for posting this. It's hard to find these early pressers - back when Laci's parents believed Scott was innocent. I followed this case back in the 90s.

Watching Lacy's Stepfather is so hard. This is his stepdaughter and this man loved this woman since her mom married him when Lacy was a child. With all the stories you hear of horrible Stepfathers, you cant help but cry along with this man.

Scott should have been as concerned as her mother...his wife and UNBORN CHILD were missing. Her mom kept going from was than is...she knew deep down that Lacy was gone but kept trying to have hope Scott is and was guilty

You know I dont mean to come across as callous, but when I started dating, my mom taught me to let the guy pursue you. Always. Never pursue the man. Even if you get him, he won't appreciate you. Its this way pretty much amoung all mamals. The male lion pursues the female and so on My point is, when Lacy met this guy at a restaurant where he worked, Scott didn't ask for her phone number. She voluntarily gave it to him. He tossed it in the trash and she gave it to him again. There have been a few times when I went against my mom's advice, and pursed men I was interested in. It never, ever worked out. At 63 years of age, I can honestly say mom was 100% right. Didn't give this lying idiot the right to kill her though. There's always divorce. 😢😢😢😅

I'm sorry but this press conference bothered me I mean just look at granski suspicious behaviour here eye movement and how he just burst into tears like he was rehearsing a script of a play look at his eyes the way he's looking her own mother didn't even do that and lo and behold he gose fishing the same morning as Scott on the morning of lacis dissapearance but in police interview he said who gose fishing on Christmas eve morning and lo and behold he did

In all fairness, even Laci's mother used the past tense when speaking about her. It wasn't just Scott. Just saying.
