Gaga talked about this song being about her journey on sobriety. How there was a day she went into a room and couldnt stop crying (rain on me). But she saw herself get through it, and "at least shes alive" and Sober now. Good for her.

What you guys are doing is exactly what Gaga intended. Dance and have fun. This entire album was her dancing through her pain and it made for such a fun album!!! I remember the first time I listened to this I was jumping. It was so infectious and so fun and hasn’t aged a single bit

Another view of this story, is that lady Gaga has fibromyalgia (like myself) and the chronic illness community really relates to this message, because when you’re in severe pain 24/7 you gotta fake it til you make it because we have no other choice. It’s really difficult being so young and not knowing a moment without pain. “Id rather be dry, but at least I’m alive”🤍

@Just Another Human Being So what if this video is not about Normani. I literally asked them to react to a video. Under every video that Jay and Chris upload people always comment another video that they want them to react to ( and the requests usually have nothing to do with that particular video ). How is this any different? I did it under the video about 5H and Normani and I can still do it under other videos too. You are just uncomfortable with the subject matter and that isn't my problem.
