I also added three indicators on the PYVCP panel. You won't see him in this video cuz I did it later that evening when I had the idea. I may show them in the future video though. Really easy to do and yeah they're very handy.

Actually no, two parallel ports. I've got a Mesa card, but I'm holding on to it because I want to use it when I rebuild my puma robot. There was a time during this restoration when I was getting frustrated with some signals being flaky. And I almost went to the Mesa card because it uses 24 volts instead of 5 volts. But I used a resistor, 330 ohms, which means that there's 15 milliamps holding them steady that the probe and the emergency switch have to overcome. That fixed the emergency switch problem, but for some reason the probe was still glitchy. So I ended up putting a 470 microfarad capacitor on it. Seems stable now we'll see.
