BLITZ, STEAMBOAT BRENDAN, AND MYSELF HEAD INTO LAKE DARLING IN IDAHO, VIA TRAIL #154. TRAIL 154 HAS TO RANK #5 FOR ME....JUST A BEAUTIFUL TRAIL. I WAS A LITTLE SAD THAT THE CAMERAS DID NOT DO THE TRAIL JUSTICE. SURPRISINGLY, THE HIKING DIDN'T BOTHER MY SHOULDER. IT IS TRYING TO GET A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP THAT WAS THE HARD PART. ENJOY!!!!

Thanks Ted. I'm trying to get the drone thing figured out. Try to be a different type of hiking channel...seems like all the other channels are super serious...thats not my bag baby. Probably the best drone footage I have is at Divide Lake...the sunset was amazing...me and Blitz had it all to ourselves....kinda sad at the same time cause I didn't have anyone there to share it with...however, thanks to film it's there for whoever watches it . Thanks for the comment my friend and I'm open to constructive criticism also.

Steamboat said he was gonna jump it, and I said well let's film it in slow motion will look cool. Steamboat replied that's only something a MADMAN would do. Lol!

There is a Trail there on your side up by Iron Mountain that would get you to Divide lake that woukd probably be awesome. Divide was definitely my favorite trip this summer. The trail into Darling Lake from the Lightning Creek side would probably be boring for you...however, coming in from the Callahan (Troy) side that trail was just beautiful and you would appreciates it.

I was honestly expecting much from Lake Dsrling...on Google earth it looked like a swamp and I heard the mosquitos were horrible. However, it looks much nicer in person and the hike in from trail#154 was beautiful. I quit tent camping about a year ago, and I sleep so much better now. Thanks so much for watching...and stay away from those cliffs. Lol!

I like it! If I was camping in that tent on top of mountain I would of thrown a rock at your drone though. Love your videos! Thanks for sharing! Hike on!

Good stuff, I always wanted to make it to that lake. So cool to see the tadpoles and the adult tree frog, Tadpoles were likely western toads. Very nice

Ever since I left Libby, I haven't been able to find my cold weather camp skull cap. You know, the one that covers my bald head but keeps my manly ears exposed? Then I see Steamboat wearing the friggin' thing hacking around Lake Darling. Did you give away any of my other stuff? Where's my chef knife? 🤨 Ha Ha!.....love the video! Wouldn't mind going on that hike sometime. Bird Dog Tom

Tom, thanks for the compliment. I was unsure about this edit...seemed choppy and clunky and that's why it took so long to get up. lol literally like a month. However, that's how ut goes sometimes. Thanks for watching. Be safe out there....don't want to read on my news feed that "Florida Man out kayaking was eating by a Aligator, who in turn was eaten by a Python, who then was in turn eaten by a great white!"

Hmmmm, that skull cap Brendan is wearing looks familiar. The cool dude in your Moran Basin video was wearing the same cap. Are you supplying props for the actors in your videos? Is this like the Moon landing, you film the whole thing in your backyard and then make it look like you're up in the mountains? Inquiring minds want to know! 🤔

Very cool trail to another pristine lake. Really appreciated all the BATs (big a- - trees) and the bear box ding dong? I don’t get that but closing it on the first try was miraculous. Those things get so finicky with age, I’m constantly struggling with the mechanisms to get them to shut, half the time the lock doesn’t connect and I just hope the bears think they can’t get in and don’t try. Sorry you’re taking so much grief about my brother’s hat, finders keepers was always his favorite expression. Karma’s a bitch ain’t it Slim.

At least I know not to gloat about the Lions beating the snot out of the Packers. September games don't mean much and only Boston fans get excited about early season games. As Vince Lombardi always said...."laugh all you want, funny boy. See your ass in December when it counts"

So Ding! Dong! goes back to the first time I went to watch the ponys at Santa Anita's Racecourse with my friend Pops. There were some old timers behind us yelling " Ding! Dong! Oh yeah we got our selves a Ding! Dong! going on here." So after several times hearing this threw out the day I finally asked why they yell Ding! Dong! A Ding! Dong! is when the #1 & #2 horse keep jockeying back and forth for the #1 position. So there ya go .Ding! Dong!

Yes with the hat, the laws of maritime salvage clearly state that the finder of a sunken treasure is the owner of the treasure. AKA...finders keepers. lol
