Thanks for watching. The chrome top casting came to me as a separate part and seemed a natural to install on the top of my chrome power car. I had a smooth-side silver painted set that needed the black top, so it worked out well.

Because the LSRR takes place in the 1930's to 50's era and the Newspaper was the news source and writing letters is how we communicated. Simpler times. Thanks for watching.

Nice work! I remember that you did a very similar thing with protesting snowman because of the supply chain issues. Perhaps it could Become a tradition to do this at least once a year close to a holiday? Also, where did you get the image with the newspaper on the train?
