I am a family medicine doctor. I remember during my orientation in med school that we were told professionals have privileges not to be taken lightly . You can ask someone to go into the room and remove clothing and they are more likely to do that because your position earns you a general sense of trust. That is why anyone who would abuse this trust should be charged more severely with aggravated voyeurism, and. Receive a harsher sentence.

Don't take your teenage daughter, or your daughter of any age for that matter, to a male doctor. It's gotten this bad, and unless you are with them throughout the full appt., don't do it. Too many Larry Nassar docs out there. There are also so many male victims at the hands of these doctors.

@@lynncollver6067 I agree that women drs could do this too, as we see lots of child abuse at the hands of women. I don't think they have to be lesbians though, to abuse girls, as we've also seen so many cases of heterosexual women abusing girls and boys. Really, it can be anyone that wants to abuse kids, regardless of their sexual orientation. And good point about making sure to have good communication, as well as being with your child.

Was just saying I agree with you on everything but also that child abusers come in all shapes and sizes. Women drs do not have to be l*esbians to be abusers. We have seen this so much with hetero women abusing girls and boys.

I worked in medical offices all my life. If I knew something like this was happening in a office I worked at I would take the offender out myself. I don't believe the justice system works anymore and I've had a good life.

PT also does manual therapy on muscles, joints or the spine. You would have to wear a gown for that.

i go to pt twice a week. i am also a nurse. i have NEVER undressed for pt. there is no reason. and i get massages at end of exercise and remain fully clothed down to my college jacket...yes i wear a warm up college jacket entire time during pt. smh.

I am a female PT. Patients wear gowns for manual treatment to muscles joints or the spine. Patients usually would keep their underwear on.

What about the parents. Parents learn not to trust other people with your kids. Theres a lot of ignorant parents out there and some are in my family. Lately I’ve been seeing reports on the news of children being abused by either lesbians or homosexuals and these people were people that were trusted by the parents of the kids. They were either neighbors, friends, relatives, etc.. How can you trust these people with your kids, they have a perverted mind, so if their perverted the probability of them molesting your kids or abusing them is really high. Common sense parents, you have a responsibility to protect you kids.

I once went on a vacation to Cabo Mexico with a friend of mine. His sister and brother in law Mike met us down there. First time I was introduced to Mike I said "Nice to meet you Mike". He replied with "my name is Dr. Anderson". I laughed it off and for the rest of the vacation I called him Mike. Turns out Dr Anderson is a chiropractor.

One of the most hypocritical statements a police officer has ever made. Ive called the cops for help, twice , out of the dozens of times my drunk ex beat me and both times I received repercussions. Having worked the front desk at a PT clinic for years, never once did any therapist have the patient change into a gown. Shorts and/or a tank top were the norm. That's all you need for an exam or treatment. Disgusting.

No child should be alone with any doctor. The parent must always be in the room. Low income families don't question these doctors. Thats why Fatherhood and Motherhood is extremely important. Parent's have the authority and power to keep their children safe.

Over the years both my husband and myself have had considerable physical therapy for various issues. Never, ever in all that time have we been asked to disrobe and put on a paper gown. When you go into any outpatient physicial therapy practice, you see staff working with a variety of patients. All the patients are in their regular street clothes for their treatments. I hope that there is further investigation into the medical necessity of this young lady being expected to undress for her therapy.

Once my sister in law went to her first appointment at a hospital here in Miami for an examination to see if she was pregnant and when she was lying on the exam table the doctor came in a short men not young and while examining my sister in law he started to get closer to her and she felt his private part well you know erected! So my brother in law was outside and she got up and ran from the room towards her husband screaming and crying my brother in law almost kill that son of a B! Cops were called sick bastard!! Shame

I don’t do men doctors because of this type of mess . My first child I had an obgyn kept checking my cervix every visit. I didn’t have any problems. I asked a nurse about it she said they only check it 2ce whole pregnancy unless theirs a problem. These men get these jobs because they like to dig around women’s parts all day . Hello.!!
