So I just saw the Book of Clarence for the second time today. And it was even better and hit deeper after this time. The first watch, I almost cried towards the end, but this time at the end, I literally was crying my eyes out. Like I have never cried that much at a movie in my entire life. As a man, I feel like it was a guilty pleasure in a way, it felt so good. Man just an amazing movie. Everything was top-tier. And the music was absolutely out of this world. Makes my top 10

Jeymes and Lakeith made great points. The Bible tells of “Jesu Christ” being a man of color born to a family of carpenters who somehow had a bloodline connected to royalty. The King of the Jews is not even accepted in Jewish communities as their messiah. But just as a prophet. The “chosen people” don’t even recognize what the Bible proclaims to be their ultimate savior and liberator. I can definitely see a black man being crucified in that time for his beliefs and talents and abilities and I can see that being a threat to the powers that be. Martin Luther King had messiah energy. Malcolm X had messiah energy. And look how their influence was globally shifting minds and how they were snuffed out before their time. ✊🏽
