One of my favorite superfoods. It grows in my backyard garden without watering or maintenance of any kind. Dries out in a day of direct sunlight, or just hours on a hot day (took 2-3 hours on foil in +34°c depending on density, salad bowls work well also). Crumbles by hand once dry and stores like other dried herbs in a jar, bag, etc. Mild nutty smell and almost no flavor once dried. A free wild plant perfect to forage and preserve for the food shortages ahead. Most starve from lack of nutrition rather than calories and organs can't handle canned food for too long.

I loved the Native American and historical back ground info. Amazing video!

This video is very nice although I wish the music in the front wasn’t so loud or long and the music during the video is distracting when trying to gather the information you are offering. Thank you for making videos.

Great information however I would like to see the music turned down or turned off or turned down while you are talking.

Tearing thru this playlist. Really, tho. Thanks for making these. It tis appreciated. I don't need to sit thru a 20 minute video to learn about a plant (no offense to the *more in depth* presenters on here) but I like to look up what I'm looking at sometimes and I don't have half the day to figure out if it's gonna kill me with slow agonizing dysentery or just might taste a little bitter which I'd like the "head's up" on that too! Seriously, I've been looking for a *go to* / "field guide" type channel for a while now. Gotta say, ya nailed it. Very useful info, quick and painless. Clear up-close pictures for comparison. You're not personally all up in the camera while I'm just trying to see how tall the thing is. 😃 It's a welcome change to what I've run into so far. Hate I haven't run into ya sooner. So yeah... Thanks for existing my brotha!

I appreciate the compliments my man. I was tired of listening to a 30 minute video for 3 minutes of info. Take care.

I dried a bunch out in direct sunlight, dries out very fast, especially the stuff I removed from the stem and put in a salad bowl. I keep some flower clusters seperate to eat once dried, it's like a light micro popcorn. Crumbles easily in my hands to make a tea/soup base or flour if fine enough (grinder), take out the big stems. Long shelf life once dried. One of the most nutritious plants along with stinging nettle and amaranth. It grows freely in my zero maintenance garden with dill and a couple other edibles. I have pineapple weed in my driveway but it's tainted unfortunately. One of God's greatest plants.

Sorry, but why talk about medicinal uses of the plant by indigenous people of the Americas, when this plant was NOT indigenous there, but is MUCH MORE well known, used and studied elsewhere??
