Me singing! All voices and harp, drum and violin parts are performed by me on my own instruments. I am perfectly aware I was not able to do this song proper justice, nor do I sound remotely like Sylvanas, nor do I sing with the sort of emotion Vangie Gunn does, nor does my little arrangement have a prayer of competing with the orchestra and choir of the original.
I am simply in love with this song and wanted to try my hand at it. Purely for fun ^_^

Reading the description literally makes me want to slap you. Every time I feel like listening to Lament of the Highborne I come on youtube and listen to YOUR version of it. The arrangement and the voice... words just cannot describe great you did. There's very few times when I really feel like a cover/arrangement is better than the original, but THIS, is one of them. Great job, and seriously, give yourself more credit. It's not often that someone can take a masterpiece, and make it even greater.

You don't give yourself enough credit😯 . Not everything has to be big and epic. The quietness of few instruments and light vocals can be as much as a masterpiece.

I stumbled upon this while browsing. I didn't expect to find this. An Angel's voice. This is hypnotically gorgeous. Like a piece of heaven sent to earth. I'm not one to appreciate the art of a singer, much less comment on it. This, however, is the sound of an Angel. This is perfection of the human spirit.

katethegreat never ceases to amaze me with her enchanting voice. I swear she can put sirens to shame with a voice like that. Definitely one of my favorite singers, if not my absolute favorite.

This is an excellent cover. I really love the undertone of the beat-- it feels like a trickle of tears. Very mysterious and very emotional. It makes me sad that people cannot put aside the fact that you aren't cloning the song and realize how much work you put into this. I love your work, and Stella Voci's. You are all incredible musicians. Keep it up! :D

Not that there's anything wrong with this version, but I would love to see you redo this in the multiple camera frame style of your more recent works. I love to see the emotion when you sing and play your instruments. It's beautiful! This is one of my favorite pieces, too. x3 But hey, I love all of your work. Every last one!

Listening to this wondering how it is that I've only just stumbled across your works (a couple other vids led me here). After listening to several songs (Elfen Lied - Lilium was the first) it became far easier to not compare to the originals. So far, from what I'm hearing, you do a wonderful job of making the songs sound simultaneously unique and familiar. Keep up the great work. Glad I finally became acquainted w/ your works.

Oh my gosh, you never disappoint! You should send this to Blizzard or work with them for a promotional video. Your composition really captured the emotion of this song (which so many ignore, since this is 'just a video game song'). Thank you for this heartbreaking beauty.

This is a superb musical performance!!!, superb on several levels. First of all the overall musicianship is awesome throughout. Then the singing is sublime; It is not just that the voice is beautiful. It is powerful in the way it conveys a full palette of beauty and emotion and also mystery above a constantly evolving chord progression. The violin playing just about knocked my socks off!!! This, with the lovely slide show, was a performance of the highest level!! Bravo!! Bravo!! 10/5

I read your side note, and I'm gonna be straight up with you... You have no idea what your voice is capable of. This is by far the best version of this song I have ever heard. You have a rare and beautiful voice that I could listen to till my dying breath. One could easily fall in love with a woman with a voice like yours.I personally think you did justice to the song just fine. I look forward to hearing more... Very well done.

Wow, must say you are quite a good singer. I love this song, and do the quest simply to sit there and listen to Sylvanas sing it. I love the Blood Elf lore, and their story, and this song encompasses the most tragic event in their history. Fave, and 5 stars simply for you being cool enough to choose this ^w^
