I wrote these lyrics and arranged "The Place I'll Return to Someday" (Terra Theme by Nobuo Uematsu) for vocals, keyboards, guitar and drums. It took me two weeks, but I think it came out well. Tell me what you think! I would LOVE feedback of any sort, and please subscribe if you would like to see more. I will be recording more of these soon! ^0^
I have a copyright on the lyrics I wrote, and this vocal version of "a place to call home". I DO NOT, however, own the melody. Nobuo Uematsu gets all the kudos for writing such lovely melodies! ^0^

This was my first attempt at home recording, 4 years ago! Also my first attempt at home-mixing, so there definitely are some funny things going on. ^w^; Years later, I am much more seasoned and know so much more about production, so there are not nearly as many gaffes in my current music ^_~

Son Hoang For each of these games, you can use emulators or buy it on android or iOS FF VI : GBA emulator (pc / phone) or buy on your phone's app store FF IX : PS1 emulator (pc / phone) or on your phone's app store FF X : PS2 emulator (pc only)

I have a few requests for other FF9 songs.... Song of Memories, Freya's Theme, Immoral Rhythm, Ruins of Madain Sari, and The Chosen Summoner. Mostly the first three. They're among my favorites, and I feel you could really do them justice. You've already done great on my other favorites: this song, You Are Not Alone, and Rose of May. You don't have to, but it would make me VERY happy. FF9 is one of my favorites in the Final Fantasy series and does not get anywhere NEAR enough respect. Plus it has the BEST MINI-GAME EVER: Chocobo's Hot and Cold. So addicting.... Dear god I am such a fan-girl for this game.....

I like the tambourine (at leasti assume that's what it is?) It gives a medieval vibe to the music, which compliments the style of the game very well. The medieval style is also why i prefer IX over VII and VIII.

Kate, I never cease to be impressed by your work. I wish there was a CD of your work with the FF IX songs. I don't think I'll ever forget your rendition of Rose of May in particular. FF IX is and may probably always be my favorite game. You did something incredible with the music and I think you deserve more credit than a bunch of people liking your work on KZfaq. I hope you find a way to do what you do professionally, or at least as far as your own satisfaction will take you.

A random video that used your Rose of May song reminded me that I've been a fan since you started putting this stuff out. Rose and Xenogears' Bonds of Sea and Fire have been two of my favorite mixes, ever, and I'm super put off by the fact I completely forgot your stuff existed on youtube after my burned CD with several of your tracks, like this one, got stolen with it still being in the CD player in my car. Without hard work and practice practice practice, all of these wonderful music is not possible and/or exist even if one is naturally talented or gifted. I understand Hendrik's praise that Kate is extremely talented but I agree with you that it's not possible without extra hard work put in from Kate herself.
