Lami Balm for Lash Lifts - Does it work? (My Honest Opinion)

Күн бұрынI tried lamination balm instead of lash lift glue during lash lifts on 3 different lash models (and also on others outside of what I filmed). Is it all it's hyped up to be? Here's my conclusion.

I've been reading about Lami Balm on lash lift forums (facebook) for a little while now. My curiosity got the better of me when some people stated it was a "game changer" and I had to try it! I tried the balm on 3 different types of lashes and this video covers what I think after trialling the balm. (What is a lamination balm? A balm used instead of a lash lift glue to push back the clients natural lashes on the lifting shield).

I used the iconsign balm today for the first time... I loved it. You have to check if the lashes are processing during the process. I ended uo having to leave the solution on for at least 2 mins longer. And it is fast lotions. So with slower solution that usually takes like 9nor 1 2mins youd have to leave it on for at least 3 mins longer.

Hi there, helpful video ! Wondering what brand of lash lift are you using? Also you can try to use the lami balm and then some glue for the stubborn eyelashes that wont lay down (thats what i saw on instagram) and it worked well!

Hi there, thank you for watching, yes I have tried glue on the tips of the lashes, it worked sometimes, it was a generic no label brand, I have lami balm but ended up really liking eyedo, I still like my glue though. I see people saying only to use the balm on the shield to bush lashes back onto then to use glue and also to extend processing times by a minute if using balm. If I get it perfect I’ll make another video

My friend who uses the balm says u need to keep both lotions on 1-2 min longer bc of the balm…makes it harder for the lotions to penetrate the lashes.

Yes I have heard this too, I would be ok with that if it weren’t for the lashes pinging off after solution 1. I have tried eyedo balm and it’s Defo better but nothing sticks lashes back like glue, it’s a little bit of a hit and miss for me

If I’m not using soft silicone shields that stick to the eye naturally I use a Lash lift glue

Totally agree & its so great to hear this from another LL Tech ❤️ Maybe we're about to have a new balm/glue hybrid but, totally I'm with you. Glue is my safe place hahaha

Right? I’m still yet to see someone do a full reel on it, all I ever see if the application at the beginning on any advertising, eyedo balm is a bit better but I’m still using glue then using balm if any (which isn’t normally many)pop off before solution 2

@@galaxydreaming I think these honest videos are great because it helps LL Techs know they're not alone because those "advertisements" always seem to work so seamlessly yet when we do it, they're popping off like they're running away 😂 I think too these honest reviews help to establish a truth back into the industry. @@galaxydreaming btw - I did buy the lami balm in banana - smells amazing but unreliable as an adhesive. For the time it would take for the learning curve I decided to stick to glue as the pay off didn't seem worth it. Just my 10c 🥰

@@itsklaasman4951 Yes I follow her also and have seen her insta reels, I haven't seen one that shows the whole process using the balm, she sells eyedo and balms so I assume she has figured out how to best use it in order to sell it, I must be missing something too. Some people on forums love her balms

@@itsklaasman4951 I've seen her use it as well but I haven't seen it on super thick lashed and as we've discussed, using the glue is a fail safe compared to the glue. When Uli used the balm she even stated using glue on the top tips of the lashes

When you don’t get a great lift, how long do you wait to lift again and what do you change?

This depends on the product you have used and the timing. I can’t give a timeframe without knowing much for information. If you have used strong solutions Defo not before 5-6 weeks

I think it is ok on thin lashes but I’ve never used it again on thick strong lashes, I just don’t trust it 😖. I am however using it when any ping off during the process when I’ve used normal glue, it does a great job of popping any escapees back during the process

Do you use water to remove steps 1 and 2?

I do not use water at all however some trainers teach to rinse at the very end after tinting.

Update! Ellebana teaches to use water on cotton buds to clean off each solution and to rinse at the end, that is because their one shot solution is CRAZY strong and you have to make sure all of it is out of the lashes, I tried their technique and lifts are still fine
