even 7 years after selling her I love this car. A rally car ....everybody knewed what is it. But was sooo .....how to say, as she had a mind: she had often bad days.... thats the right word. And the cockpit was amazing, not like todays awd charged hot hatches....

5 stars for making a tribute that doesn't entirely consist of google images. Between this and the Stratos Lancia is one of my most favourate manufacturers. If only they still made cars like this.

I owened one from 1995 until 2002..my best driving years... every time I got in the car... i felt like Oriol ready to shoot the championship...that car gave me amazing feelings...it had spirit and character...yet full of technical problems...but it was part of its personality I guess...today I drive a subaru sti...nice car...but its not my Italian crazy naughty Deltona...

I think you might be getting confused with the S4's pre-Gp.B predecessor, the Lancia 037 Rallye - 2WD, supercharged. The S4 WAS 4WD - it was Lancia's Gp.B answer to the groundbreaking 4WD Audi Quattro, and the predecessor to the legendary Integrales. It was both turbocharged AND supercharged, mid-rear engined! I love it's form-follows-function bad-assness, plus it's mental acceleration...

It many not be everyone's cup of tea but I think the Delta is a beautiful car.

Actually it was one of better looking compacts of it's time. Giorgio Giugiaro designed it. Still like the exterior.

The Mustang may be my most favorite car because it's a legend and has asignificant part in History, but Integrale Evo is my next favorite because for me, it's the #1 IN PERFORMANCE!! I wish there were a lot of this car in the United States, Viva!

sometimes i think "wouldn't it be awesome to have a bugatti or something", but every time i watch an integrale i forget that. I have got to get a lancia. Maybe some would find that wierd considering the price difference, but i could drive the lancia forever.

vederla sfrecciare a pochi metri da te era bellissimo emozioni bellissime. putroppo la mitica delta diventa sempre piu rara la si vede solo nel relly storico e raramente in relly guidata da figli di ppa incapaci putroppo le auto di quei tempi so state abolite dai relly wrc per la troppa potenza del motore, che comportava un gran pericolo di guida in pochi avevano la stoffa per tenere la belva de relly

absolutely loved my integrale, really miss all the attention it got, it was like going out with a filmstar everytime you went for a drive. in all fairness though it doesnt wipe the floor with todays cars, the pulsar GtiR i had would have killed it. but the lancia had pace & grace & IS the most successful Rally car ever made.

Lancia was the name of car maker founder in 1906, Vincenzo Lancia (for example like Enzo Ferrari is founder of Ferrari cars industry). Anyway in italian the word "lancia" is the name of a weapon, like an arrow or lance. And on the original logo of Lancia You can see this weapon like baton or support of the flag inside the logo.

The Lancia Delta S4/Integrale the best rally car ever made. First rally car to win 6 championships in a row. Only the slow evo's have got 6 in a row as well. But as i said to a buddy, i would take the Delta any day of the week, u can have ur evo. Plus the S4 was the last of the group b monsters and after the end of group b mid way through 86. The Integrale a tuned down version of the Delta S4 came along and the rest is history. Plus one of these cars today can cost as much as 30,000+ euros.

@ElSambrero I am afraid you are incorrect. The Delta Integrale has become a cult classic and lives upto the legacy of the Stratos, both are fantastic pieces of automobile art and neither should be compared, just admired.
