Point of correction, please. I think the surveyor would rather prepare a cadastral plan for you, not an indenture.

In Accra, I believe a surveyor can also assist with indenture. However the indenture is normally done by a lawyer

Can you sell a land bought from a chief ? And do you have to go and register again in lands commission or the certificate from the chief is enough?

There’s a freehold which is not a lease. You buy it and own it perpetuity

Freehold interest to individuals have been outlawed.

If your land was registered before the outlaw, you can transfer the freehold to an individual.

There is no freehold of sale in Ghana it’s completely abolished don’t let anyone fool you just simple read the Ghana constitution on land and you will see for yourself what Ghana laws says. And even before that new law came into effect it was only Ghanaians that could purchase freehold land not foreigners but now it’s absolutely no one
