It's nearly MOT time and I noticed my ACE (active cornering enhancement) Ram gaiter looking the worse for wear.
I had installed the last one in 2017 so it had lasted a while.
Landrover recommend a special tool to do this, but at nearly £150 for a tool you will probably never use again, I found a easier way to install the new gaiter. ye har

I chickened out and bought the tool! Ended up doing the bush at the bottom of the ram too.

Yes I watched your video. This is the 2nd time I've had to do the RAM gaitor on my truck, the last one lasted a good 6 years !!

Exactly the same way that I replaced the ram recently on my D2. Couldn't justify the price of their tool.

Nice one, if the tool was like £30 fair enough but I checked the price last night and it was £150! No damage to my ram what so ever. Thanks for watching.

hello, I replaced my two ACE cylinders, but the anti roll light is still flashing red? What does it take to adjust the cylinders for this to work. Thank you so much for your videos:) bonjour, j'ai remplacé mes deux vérins d'ACE, mais le voyant anti roulis clignote encore en rouge? que faut-il faire pour régler les vérins pour que cela fonctionne. Hi, Do you mean you have the Red or yellow ACE light on still?. If so you need to bleed the system (reset), I have never had to do this but I have heard that it is best to find an empty car park and do some figure of 8 driving manoveours and this will bleed the system. Hope that helps
