2:54 I totally agree with Yukito on this one. In my first visit to Japan, I said I will talk to them in straight english because i believed that there is no way that japanese architects and engineers will not be well versed in english... boy was I wrong. I really had to speak in broken english (the stereotypical Filipino english) so they can understand me. example, I was with a meeting with an engineer from a top company in tokyo... Me: So, we really should add a level reset feature to your program... Engineer:... what... resetto? Me: a level reset?...for you program.... Engineer: huh? Me: (in stereotypical Filipino broken English voice) you...please put reset....reset the level....we need.. okay Engineer: Ah...ok ok... understand... . PS.: the only person I talked straight english to was with a shaved ice vendor by the side of the road. He said he takes up english classes at night. Oh, and a Chinese engineer working there...he speaks fluent english... with a voice like Barry White....

Wow! This is a very informative vlog. The two guys, you can never mistake them for foreigners because their Tagalog is Pinoy na Pinoy ang dating! While Dasuri's Tagalog improves a lot with time every time I open her vlogs. Suggestion ko for the sake of creating a vlog, invite Sandara Park (Dara in Korea) in your vlog if you can afford to pay her. Pagkakaalam ko, sikat na rin sya sa Korea. Sikat pa rin sya sa Pilipinas! they sound smooth due to all their words ends in vowels (syllabic) except the "n". Tagalog is also like japanese, it is syllabic, though Tagalog has more consonant endings, it sounds slightly smooth thanks to "ng" linkers.

Although for some, "Hapon" is a gender-neutral term for "Japanese" same with "Hapones" except "Hapon" is more like an adjective. I usually say "Nipponggo", the Filipino word that's derived from the other word for Japan in Japanese (asides from Nipon, which we didn't borrow).
