In this series of three videos I'll be introducing you to a pretty wild and fantastic lens from the LAOWA brand. The 15mm f4 1:1 wide angle / macro allows for the shooter to gain that massive field of view as one would expect from a 15mm. Now add to that the ability to focus on something almost touching the front glass element allows the shooters creative juices to flow.
In this first video I'll be introducing you to the lens but also giving my own thoughts on the challenge at hand.
My second video will be outlining the custom made lighting and specific approach I take to lighting subjects with this lens given its massive field of view but also how I go about getting light onto a subject that may be just a matter of millimeters away.
The third video in the series will be one spent in the wild looking for suitable imaging victims in the northern jungles of Okinawa Island.
