Large Waves on Nova Scotia's Shore | Sand Dollar Beach | Lunenburg

5 ай бұрынWe planned to explore Sand Dollar Beach near Lunenburg on Nova Scotia's south shore, but arrived to high tide and not much area to walk. While there we noticed large waves in the distance and decided to go in search of more waves. We stoped at a scenic viewpoint overlooking the town of Lunenburg, and the Bluenose II before making our way to the beautiful community of Blue Rocks and ending with a small trail overlooking the salt marsh.

Always a great area to explore, especially around Lunenburg, the home of many of my ancestors as well as current cousins. You sure did have a fantastic blue sky day. Batten down the hatches now for snow tomorrow, Monday. But I guess we'll see just how much. Take good care and enjoy the week. Bruce and Otis

We survived so far (including that wind storm we had yesterday!). We loved the blue sky, even with the wind. The sunshine therapy is so important to enjoy during these short days.
