+Anish 318 I agree it reminded me of Colbert's speech during the Bush WHCD, it played out the exact same way where everyone who initially watched the video hated it because they were only going off the audience's reactions, but after people had a second to think about just the material they realized it was good but just cut razor sharp. Obama basically did the same thing in his speech, but because he was making fun of himself everyone felt comfortable laughing.

This is not the full speech. The final joke - and the emotional apex - has been censored. This controversial word - apparently, it's fine to read it in Twain (and I agree: it is), but it's not ok to hear it from the mouth of one black man to another in celebration of one of the heights of black American achievement. How very puerile.
