great video. I think this is like the only video of the Beamo engraving on metal. Have you tried anodized Alum?

Is the magic really in the spray? We have used permanent markers and still there is nothing visible in metal with any settings. Flux customer service saw the photos (where really there was nothing visible in a knife etc) and said the Beamo works just as it should!? We are really frustrated with this. I would have ordered this Brilliance but only the shipping from USA was 59dollars.. Too much if it's not working and even if it is. Is there any other product you would recommend to try with?

The product you need is CerMark spray....the best for any laser engraving of metal.....I even did a video on this channel using CerMark.

I work with aluminum & a metal called nugold which is copper & zinc. Would this work on those metals ?

Tho I never worked with those specific metals I still dont see why not. Testing it would give you an answer.

If it’s plain stainless steel with no coding then yes you have to use a spray

I tried 30 on power and 200 on speed. It came off, not completely, so now I'm trying 35 power and 100 speed. Stainless flask. I have the 30w Beamo. I'll let you know how the 2nd set of setting go.

@@brilliancelaserinks6292 I can't go 100% with this laser but the 35 150 did work. I made sure to clean the flask with dawn first and scrub it a bit. It came out awesome! Thanks for the reply!

What power and speed settings did you use? I have tried numerous settings with no luck.

In the beamo software we have a preset for metal already set...

@@lazerking1701 I tried the default Metal preset it didn't work. Would it be possible for making a video to show how you coat the metal with the spray and also the settings so it will make our life easier, please.

@@fashionjewelryforeveryone If you look at my other videos I did a steel tumbler using CerMark laser spray, thats all you need...spray, engrave, wash off after engraving is done.

@@lazerking1701 uhhh ... I tried Laserbond 100 spray with my Beamo 30W with Metal Preset ... didn't work. Should I try with CerMark or brilliance laser inks as shown in this video. Need to engrave on thin Stainless charms used to engrave charms/dog tags for jewelry
