LASFIT filmed a video for 2018 Kia Forte LED light bulbs installation. Here we did a new video for 2019 Kia Forte. Actually, for 2017, 2018 and 2019 Kia Forte, their bulb size are almost the same. But the interesting thing is that the high beam and low beam bulb size is opposite.
For 2017, 2018 Kia Forte: high beam is 9005, low beam is H7 with a special adapter
For 2019 Kia Forte: high beam is H7 with a special adapter, low beam is 9005.

Hi guys, we're also very happy this video is helpful for you. For 2019 Forte low beam, there are two bulb sizes, 9005 and H7. The LED low beam bulbs in the video only fit H7. Usually, there is a bulb number at the bottom of the headlight transparent cover. Or, you can take out the factory halogen bulb to check the bulb size. OMG, my partner bought an EX Forte 2 days ago and didn’t chose a higher trim to fit her budget. But the downside is the car comes with halogen lights everywhere but that video is a goldmine. I guess it will my project for my next vacation. 🎉🎉🎉

Thank you guys for such an amazing tutorial. Very useful. I own a Cerato/Forte GT. With the front indicators, I took off the 3 clips and single screw as displayed in this video. In addition to that, I also took off the 3 clips from the under tray underneath the car in front of the wheel. This makes the lining is easier to move and makes the bulbs more accessible. It was a challenging job but worth the change.

Can you please look into how it was possible to use the front turn signal lamps as switchback leds as shown in the video. I am dying to get the turn signals as DRLS. They come from factory as halogen turn signal only bulbs. I really want to add this drl to my forte. Please do anything you can to find out how this was done in the video.

Hi， could you please kindly tell us the year and the trim of your Kia Forte? After-market LED bulbs that have a switchback function should be replaced with dual-filament halogen bulbs, the turn signal light and DRL can work on the same bulb.

Love the way this came out, my only question is how did you get the front turn signals to be used as a white led and be used as the orange led turn signal? Would greatly appreciate a reply, as I'm looking to do these exact changes to my forte.

Hi, these are switchback LED turn signal lights, with two colors, white and amber. If the OEM bulbs work as two functions, such as parking lights and turn signals, then white lights will work when you turn on parking lights, and amber lights will work when you turn on turn signal lights. WHat's the year of your Kia Forte?

Hello question, I have the same car for some reason I don't have the same access for any of the bulbs and I can't find anywhere online who has the same issue. I have a picture and the back of my headlight is just all black plastic with no twist off cap.

Hi, we access to the back-up light from under the car. You could use the car jack to lift your car, it's eaiser to reach the back-up lights.

If anybody has a Kia forte 2019 to 2023 and yours does not come with LED upgrades like some of the GTs do then I would definitely recommend changing the high and low beam headlights because it made a dramatic difference. My wife was only able to see maybe 10 ft in front of her with original stock bulbs after I installed LED low and high beams, The headlights shine much much further and has a Very clean look and you are able to see everything in your path. The only downfall that she told me she has is that the low beams are magnified or has a magnified lens which condenses it down to be more focused and the LEDs work wonderful but she's not used to driving a vehicle that's like that so there are a lot of times she will drive with her high beams on and the only problem we are having is on the passenger side high beam and it has been changed out three different times The computer is saying something is wrong with that high beam on the passenger side but the driver side is fine and I have tested this on three different LEDs and the driver side is always perfect if anybody has had a problem with the passenger side high beam on a 2020 Kia forte let me know in the comments what might be causing that. I also want to add my wife's 2020 Kia forte LXS takes 2005 low beam LEDs and h7 high beams.

Could you please tell us whether you purchased Lasfit LED bulbs? Because our products seldom receive dashboard warning only on one side problems. Actually, it is common for 2020 Kia Forte to have compatibility problems, it might need Canbus decoder to solve that question. Would you please tell us what the different types of LED bulbs you have tested? We are looking forward to your reply!

You can open the fender liner to reach the stock bulb and replace it with LED bulbs. Skip to 1:28

Thanks for your feedback. The fog light is 9006 for 2019-2020 Kia Forte. We don't have a video for fog lights at this moment. But it's not hard to change. We tested LED daytime running day light on 2019 Forte, it threw an error code on dash. So, we don't recommend the LED bulbs to replace the daytime running light.

I have a 2019 Kia Forte LXS, I purchased the LED brake lights but they only work for maybe 10 minutes if the headlights are on, do you know of any fix for this? I really like the lights and dont want to have to return them if i can fix the issue. Thanks for any help

A stupid question perhaps, but some experts here may be able to help. Is the Kia "Forte" identical to the Kia "Cerato"? In different countries, vehicles are named differently to suit the local market. I have a MY2020 Kia Cerato GT sedan and am thinking of changing to LED on some or all of my current lighting.

Where did you get the switchback for the front turn signals? I can’t find them for a PY21W bulb. I’ve been on Amazon and the Lasfit website and cannot find. I have a 21 forte gt-line.

Hi, PY21W is a single filament bulb, it doesn't support switchback design. The switchback LED bulbs are made for dual-filament bulbs.

Hi, the bulb has two functions. It works as turn signal light and parking light. Our these LED bulbs were designed with two colors: white for parking light, yellow for turn signal. You can skip to 6:22, the turn signal light working in yellow color. Just changed the front turn signals to LED on a 2020 Forte gt and because they blink fast the electronics think it's a blown light and is flashing on the dash with a warning light.

@@GR33ZY.A1 The switchback LED bulbs (white and orange color) only work for the factory turn signal lights with two functions, orange color is turn signal, and white light is parking or daytime running light. Because these LED bulbs just replace the stock halogen bulbs, no additional functions.

Yes, the white light will work together with daytime running light, as shown in the video 4:50. The amber light(turn signal) is working, and the white light also is running.

I bought the switchback turn signals for the front. They’ve been on for maybe a week and just today they started to hyper flash. I thought these were non hyper flash? It’s occasional. Not every time just every other time but it’s very noticeable and quite annoying

I bought rear turn lights (Backside) for my 2019 Kia forte LXS. I got it from amazon and I brought it to car center yesterday and changed halogen lights to Lasfit Led lights. But at dashboard, a warning sign continuosly appear when I turn on parking lights about 20 seconds, first 15 seconds is working well tho. Is this product's problem or does it happen oftenly?

Hello, we removed the turn signal lights from the whole package, you can check your order record. Due to someone feedback the LED turn signal bulbs still hyper flash on 2020-2021 Forte. If you still want to replace turn signal lights, we suggest you can try other LED bulbs, but the load resistor is required.

Hi, the fog light bulb size is 9006 for 2019-2020 Kia Forte. We don't have a video for fog lights at this moment. but it's not hard to change. Firstly, you need to reach the fog light from under your car, then twist out the OEM fog light, take out the halogen bulb, and install LED bulbs, connect the power cable. ellos tienen un sitio de interner lasfit pero ahi el set cuesta casi 500 dollares. yo gaste menos de 200 comprando individualmente en amazon o ebay. luces bajas 9005 y hid es mejor q led en esas, luces altas h7, neblineras 9006, adentro del carro dos t10 mapa y una 28 mm centro, placas 2 t10. esas son las q mas vale la pena cambiar en las otras es mucho el trabajo y poca la diferencia. ojala te ayude.

Hi, we'll shoot a video for the fog light if we get a chance. Actually, the fog light is not hard to replace, the same installation steps as headlight bulbs. Firstly, you approach the fog light from under the car > twist out the OEM fog light > take out the halogen bulb > connect the LED power connector to the stock power connector > lock the LED bulb in place.

sushiwang I replaced mine. I just crawled under the front and unsnapped the plastic cover and the bulb is right there once you get the cover open. Just grab and twist lightly.

The installer's hand to reach the bulb behind the rear bumper , but he didn't lie under the car to do it. If it's hard for you, you can use the car jack to lift the car, and install rear turn signal lights.
