Right after joe was saying animals are the best to play with when you’re feeling depressed I swear I saw Halies face light up in some kind of way so this is such a crazy miracle/ gift from the world to her.

I totally feel you Hallie! Sometimes animals come to you at just the right moment you needed them to! I had started feeding this cat that had been coming around our house initially to take my mind off of stress I was dealing with at the time. But he would run away at the slightest movement or noise near him. I never thought he could become tame since he’d been running the streets and didn’t seem like he had a family at all. Little did I know the cat ended up trusting me and finally let me pet him and I legit cried too! Now he basically lives here and comes every morning and night for food and chin scratches and even jumps on my lap to get pets! He purrs and everything, he’s so comfortable being around me now! I just love that bond you can have with an animal, so effortless and unconditional 🥰

I love yalls tradition of water balloons on the last day of school. I 💯agree with Aunt Bonnie, animals come to us for a reason. My doggie followed me home from the local gas station, she was stray that i really wanted to keep but my hubby wasnt ready for her. I did my best to find her owner, but my brother came and got her and been in the family since bc she took up with my dad and upon his passing last April she came home to me. Im excited for Hallie and that adorable puppy!

I honestly believe that animals do find you. I’m so glad Tod(d) found you Halie! My mom used to work for a Labrador Retriever rescue. We used to foster labs because of it. I have always wanted a Lab for my first dog and I always wanted to name my dog Frank after some of my fave characters/actors/singers. Our second to last foster dog came in and he was a big black Labrador. His name was Franklin and needless to say, he melted my heart like no other foster. He did not leave and he is what we call a foster failure. He is now my new child and brings me joy everyday. This was two years ago and counting. He’s 11 now. I’m so happy for you Halie and I know Tod(d) will be in great hands!

I love that Halie was so emotional over Todd. I remember when I adopted my dog Daisy Girl, and the first time I had to leave her. I cried because I was worried she was going to be lonely and sad. I was SO upset about it. And I was 38 years old. I’m 40 now, and I still get upset if I have to leave and I think she’ll get lonely.

A blessing for Halie to get an emotional support animal. She is in live already. I pray Todd is a healthy puppy once the Vet sees him.
